I have been under his care for two years. I can't imagine having any other doctor. He is caring and spends the time to answer all questions. He is willing to try new treatments. I would hope that no one has to go to him and deal with cancer, but if one does, he is the best!

My gynecologist and a specialist referred me to Dr. Bhoola after I was diagnosed with endometrial cancer and large fibroids. At my first appointment, he offered a couple of treatment options, including hysterectomy, leaving my ovaries (the option I chose). He answered my questions and explained his plan for surgical technique, which was robotic, laparoscopic surgery, with a longer incision. I fully trust his expertise and medical experience and knowledge, which allowed me to be at ease going into major surgery for the first time in my life. At the follow up appointment after, he gave me the good news that surgery had cured the cancer. When I cried with relief, he said “it’s ok. Take a minute. Celebrate. You’re going to be ok.” I have full confidence in and respect for him as a surgeon and doctor, and appreciation for his humanness, kindness. I’m fortunate in my health outcome so far, and grateful I was/am in “good hands” as my first doctors told me I would be under Dr. Bhoola’s care.

After falling through the cracks of the Canadian health care system for the last three years, I finally decided to pay for my own MRI. When that revealed a mass in my cervix, I jumped the border and was so grateful to end up in Dr Bhoola’s office. Dr. Bhoola’s phone consultation alone provided us more information, peace of mind and direction on how we were going to deal with this, than I had received from my Canadian gynaecologist. He was able to provide us the possible scenarios dependant on biopsy results in a way that were easy to understand. He is a kind, caring, human, present doctor and I feel blessed to have found him. I suffered increasing low back pain for several years. Finally, in December, 2019, I consulted a back & spine specialist who ordered an MRI which revealed large tumors in my uterus and also near my spine. I was devastated... However, in March, 2020, Dr. S. Bhoola performed an excellent surgery to remove a large, benign fibroid tumor in my uterus (total hysterectomy) and another large, benign mass in my lower pelvic region. It should be noted that this mass was in a difficult area near my kidney and spinal nerves. Now, after a two month recuperation from the surgery, and thanks to Dr. Bhoola, the significant pain caused by this condition is thankfully gone in May, 2020. It should be noted that prior to seeing Dr. Bhoola, I consulted two different surgeons who refused to do the pelvic surgery based on the level of difficulty. I am thankful that Dr. Bhoola agreed to use his considerable confidence, surgical skill and expertise to perform the robotic-assisted, laparoscopic pelvic.

I saw Dr. Bhoola 10 yrs ago for a cancer surgery. He is an excellent surgeon, I had no complications . I now in 2020 need surgery for a different female cancer. I immediately went to see Dr. Bhoola . He is kind, funny, and very thorough. I would recommend him 100%. I'm very fortunate to have a surgeon as good as Dr. bhoola. His nurse is also amazing and very kind.

Dr. Bhoola was very caring, very sweet and made me feel comfortable and explained everything to me before and after my surgery. He treated me like a family member and not at all like a patient. When he made his rounds during my hospital stay, he kept asking me if I was ok and talked to my husband about the after care. I was given the best group of dr.s and staff that did my surgery! He is the reason why I am here today! My husband and I are forever grateful!! I highly recommend him!

Dr Bhoola graciously served my mother for over 9 months. He was an extension of our family during her treatments. He was straightforward and kind in the explanations of our treatment options. When he made his morning rounds, it was an actual visit, not an obligation. My family will forever be thankful to Dr Bhoola for his excellent service.
