Dr Tokman is an extremely bright, highly capable physician who is also a very empathetic person. I do not think you can go wrong with having her as your pulmonologist. Both my wife and I have been highly pleased with her as my pulmonologist over the last four years. Her medical advice has almost always been spot on. We have recently needed to move to Tucson and really regret losing her as my doctor. However, our loss will be the other patient's gain who will wind up filling my medical vacancy.

Dr. Tokman is the most amazing Pulmonologist in my experience of COPD and Bilateral Lung transplant. She is extremely intelligent and very knowledgeable in her specialty. She is very good about discussing all your needs and concerns. She identifies needs that affect the way your lung transplant has opportunity for more success. I like her very much and would and do, trust my life to her.

Not sure why anyone would give Dr. Tokman a bad review. She has been taking care of my dad. Just an FYI, he is almost 17 years post his first bilateral lung transplant, 10 years post a unilateral lung transplant. He has seen MANY doctors through the years and we absolutely LOVE her. She tells you the way it is and does not beat around the bush. Exactly what we want to hear and exactly what my dad needs to hear! She explains EVERYTHING to us. Perhaps others don’t understand or “hear” what she is telling them. Very very thankful she is watching over my dad....
