Excellent experience
I have had nothing but positive visits and medical care. I give him 10 starts. He is knowledgeable and these other reviews on here are so off base. Friends and family have had great experiences as well.

I would not go to this Doctor if having problems
I had been sick with horrible pain every few months for years. I was sent to Dr. Jamil by my Ins. Company due to previous GI Doc not helping me. After 2 to 3 years of seeing him and being told I had IBS or IBD and to take fiber chews etc. I was not getting any relief or feeling better at all. I felt like I was getting worse. I changed PCP in hopes someone could help Me. I saw new PCP and he sent me straight away for a CT scan. After Scan I was told to go directly to the hospital that I had an abscess and possible perforation in My large intestines. I spent 3 days in the Hospital and had an emergency surgery to drain abscess. Then I saw a colorectal Surgeon who attempted a colonoscopy and could not even get scope in. I ended up having a Colon Resection surgery. Dr. Jamil never once ordered a scan or colonoscopy. I would not trust him with my health ever!!!!!!!!! Dr. should listen to people when they say they don't feel good and are not having BM for 10 or more days

Thrilled with this doctor.
Dr Jamil was amazing. He was thorough, informative and showed a genuine interest in my husband and his issues. On the way out, my husband and I both agreed he was one of the best doctors we had ever seen. I wonder about these other reviews with one star. I feel like it could not possibly be the same doctor we saw.

Had a very large colon polyp removed. Very knowledgeable and caring. Dr Jamil takes the time to explain the procedures and shows the results in detail with pictures of the entire process.

Spent less than 10 minutes in the room.
Very arrogant and did not really listen to my needs. He spent less than 10 minutes in the room and the appointment cost was astronomical. Left with not plan and was told I was “young and healthy” and have not hint to worry about. Worst doctor I’ve seen.

Dr. Jamil is Infatuated with sophisticated medical technology to the exclusion of any genuine interest in patients. He approaches diagnosis and treatment with an almost reckless disregard for patients' medical histories and symptom profiles. Run from him.

Dr. Sohaib Jamil’s disturbing medical practice
If you are interested in a gastroenterologist who excels at misdiagnosis, can't be bothered with the trifles of your medical history and symptom profile, and who will subject you to unnecessary medical procedures and medical imaging technology regardless of your symptoms, Dr. Sohaib Jamil is the man for you. In fairness to Dr. Jamil, it isn't clear whether the source of his medical malpractice is carelessness, callousness, garden variety incompetence, or a combination of all three. The question will haunt you, though, when he looks up from your chart at the end of this expensive, time consuming, helter-skelter medical odyssey, and offers you a shoulder shrug instead of a diagnosis. Just before dropping you like 3rd period French with an embarrassed smile on his face.
