Excellent Doctor
Dr . Ali thoroughly explained my cancer, even drawing diagrams to aid my and my husband’s understanding. She explained my treatment and medications and was prompt in making needed changes when one medication stopped working. I see her monthly with blood tests prior so I am getting a full report, which is included as well in the after care summary on MyScripps. She has shown me my PET scans and explained them, pointing out information I needed. I love her staff. I can send a question via myScripps and her staff responds same day with answers. I don’t feel I need to speak directly with her as I know her staff are doing so before they respond to me. She has responded promptly to my primary care physician’s questions who treats me at a skilled nursing facility. It’s easy to make ab appointment by stopping at the scheduling desk just outside the office door. I don’t understand the negative comments. My treatment for stage 4 breast cancer is going great and she and staff are great.

100% 5 Star Treatment
I've had a great experience with Dr. Ali and her team (Courtney & Kelly) after getting terrible treatment elsewhere. Dr. Ali & team stepped in and had my oncology treatment going within days -- making sure all the needed tests were done and I was well versed on the process & potential side effects prior to the start of treatment. This was quite the feat given I met her on a Thursday and started treatment on a Monday. I had a difficult time with chemo side effects, but I always received an immediate response on any issue I had from her team. If I emailed first thing in the morning, a detailed response was typically received within 20 minutes from when the office opened. Amazing! And finally, as a person who does tend to question things. I always felt heard & respected. I have complete confidence in Team Ali!

This is the worse oncologist would someone want to have. 1- she didn't go through my chemo TX options, and she put on her notes that she explained all the options and that was a lie, I had to have a second opinion to explain and go over the TX options. 2- she put me on antisychotic medication for Nausea without disclosing that information or even explaining the S/E. I got very sick due to taking that med . 3- lab results will not be released to you on timing manner, and 3 days later she'll go and put them on my chart with a different date. 4- she told me during an office visit that all my labs were good, and when I read her notes later I found out that some of my labs were abnormal, eventually she lied again. 5- don't expect her to answer you message personally to show you that she cares about you, NO, she is so proud to answer you, she always have her staff only answer you, and guess what, she will let you wait and wait and you get that answer, what can I say? horibl

Don't believe she's aware of treating the different breast cancer sub types. Was not put on the best first line of treatment for my sub type of breast cancer. I was prescribed the wrong dosage. I was prescribed half the dosage of what I should have been taking.
