Awful, ignorant, no help
Having no thyroid I asked about certain problems. Like swellling. Her response? Im not a cardiologist. Swelling is a symptom of hypo. My question on my weight went great though. Her medical degree advice was 'do more.' It's laughable how awful the visit with her was. And she charged me 4 times the cost of other endocrinologist. Run run run.

Shouldn’t be allowed to have a medical degree.
Dr. Gajula was rude, arrogant, and extremely dismissive. I couldn’t say anything without being interrupted or talked over. She basically told me that she couldn’t help me. I even asked her about stuff that had to do with hormones (literally her profession) and she said she knew nothing about it. I would never recommend seeing her. Look for a different endocrinologist.

Horrible. Very rude, arrogant, and condescending. Has zero accountability and is never positive. Her office staff was quite nice however, the minute she comes into the office you feel like you are being scolded for no apparent reason. Terrible professional. In the wrong profession.

Visiting Dr Gajula is like visiting your old mean German Grandmother, only there is no cookie jar. She is short, rude, condescending, and gives you bad advice to boot. This was a complete waste of my time. I refuse to see her again. Much better off working with the nurse practitioner.

My friend and I have been seeing Dr. Gajula for about 2 years now. In the beginning she seemed in a rush and not very attentive, but now she’s outright rude and disrespectful. During my last appointment she hardly took her eyes off the computer screen, she didn’t ask how I was feeling, and worst yet, she never did a physical exam on my thyroid! When I proceeded to tell her about the unusual symptoms I have been feeling and that I read that it could be related to my thyroid, she immediately negated my concerns and questioned my sources with a very condescending and arrogant manner. My friend also expressed a lot of the same concerns. And apparently, many of her other patients have had similar experiences as evident in the reviews below. And since nothing has changed since all these reviews have been written. I think I will need to pass them on to whom it “really” concerns!

She was always in a rush and wouldn't listen. Her office staff was rude. I had anxiety every time I had an appointment to see her. Whenever I asked questions she made me feel like they were stupid questions. I would never go see her again.

Absolutely terrible. This doctor has a monopoly it seems. She simply does not care. If you request a different endocrinologist, she stonewalls. I was told all other doctors are afraid of her and will not go against what she says, so switching would be pointless. My review is simply the same as all the other unsatisfied reviewers: She's cold. She's arrogant. She offers no concrete solutions and the more desperate you are for a solution, the more frustrated she becomes with you. She didn't even seem to understand much of what I was saying and I consider myself to be an excellent communicator. She kept repeating the same things and acting as if I was stupid & didn't understand, simply because I needed clarification. She gives simple, insulting answers, often blaming the patient for his/her condition. She admitted she was afraid of being sued, I believe this fear has made her feel she can't do her job. I wish people wouldn't sue hospitals so much, it creates monsters like this.

I was absolutely appalled with the way I was spoken to! This Dr is very arrogant and rude and did not take the time to listed to a word I had to say! In fact when trying to discuss the cost of medicine she told me to "figure it out" or she would refuse to treat me. I have never in my entire adult life been degraded by a heath care professional and will not be back to let her do it again.

I wish I had found the reviews before I walked in the door. She was cold and rude. She did not listen to my concerns and dismissed my symptoms. I tried to advocate for myself, but it just made her mad. I left in tears.

The worst physician I have ever seen. She is haughty and condescending. She will demean you and belittle your intelligence. She bases all of her treatments off of one blood test. She does not care about helping the patient to get better, she only cares about the paycheck.

Wasted almost a year of my time and money doing the same tests and blood draws without coming any closer to a solution. I had respectfully presented researched findings from reputable sources (NIH, WHO, Cornell University, New England Medical Journal, etc.), asked her thoughts were, and was treated like I was crazy. She insulted my intellect and due diligence, couldn't show me a modicum of respect, and in the end had no concern for me as a patient or my low T but only with what she could bill.
