Dr. Sonia Giknavorian, MD

She wouldn’t listen to me she didn’t wanna hear anything. I had to say she doesn’t care totally dismissed anything I had concerns over and walked out of the room without even saying I’ll see you next time bye-bye or anything she just walked out. In fact, I had no idea that our visit was over. She just turned around and walked out.

Dr. Giknavorian it's an amazing doctor her whole staff made me feel very comfortable she listens to you and gets right on top of your issues she definitely makes you feel like a human being and not just cattle

I don’t have any problems with Dr Sonia but when her new staff puts you on hold then disconnects the call after 6 minutes which happened twice in a week then claims that the 4 pm appointment phone call was made when they didn’t call and insist that I’m the one lying to me that’s a problem. Getting prescriptions refills has always been a problem. It’s a shame cause I like her but if you need things done her staff is not capable

Every time I see her she either refers me to another specialist and orders more testing all need prior auths which takes many moons before they are gotten, twice now the medication she has ordered either hasn’t been approved or they never follow through on it I also have had to call them multiple times to get the referrals approved for testing or specialist and then end up having to physically go get them and bring them to the reffed dr or testing in order to get it done then at the follow up I hear them outside the door telling her what I’m here for shouldn’t that be reviewed prior to the visit?? I’m thinking it may be time to look for a new primary dr

The staff is great, Heidi was extremely friendly and helpful and patient. She went over discharge notes and lab work and was very knowledgeable and helpful with our concerns and questions. Thennnn “Dr.” Giknavorian walked in. One minute in and i wanted to walk out the door. Her appearance isn’t very Dr. like for starters but the worst part is her attitude. She had no idea what was going on and was not listening to the information we were giving her. She was rude and arrogant but with no clear knowledge to back that arrogance with. I guess the first red flag was the fact that there were same day appointments available in this town. It’s a shame because the staff is great. Will be moving on to a different dr.

I've seen Dr Giknavorian once but once is more than I can endure. She is absolutely arrogant, and lacking any grain of respect and dignity for a patient. Definitely no people skills and not sensitive to others. She questions facts of a patient's medical history. Lastly, she wants to assume the role of other special health areas being a "know it all".

Will switch ASAP I have given her. 2 years. Have to deal with receptionist, nurses and her staff to get any response from her. Appears she does not like her patients or people. Very abrupt and zrroga6. I have always used an internist as my primary over 50 years and if I go on criticizing her it will be ugly. Need to move on.

I am very disgruntled about the fact my out-of-state records, sent twice to Dr. Giknavorian's office, somehow disappeared. Other observations created a distrust in patient confidentiality issues.
