Saw Him in February 2023, Then has colonoscopy in April. Then did not have any interactions with him until October. He was unavailable the entire month of July. All he wanted to do was to prescribe pills that did not work and caused me to have nausea. This contributed to my weight loss of over 20 pounds of which I did not have to lose. In October I was informed that the first colonoscopy I was not fully cleared out until I saw him again. He then stated that I needed another colonoscopy. This I did in November and he again wanted me to start the medications that gave me nausea. I will not go back to see him for any other problems that may occur. I will go to another doctor. The only good experience I had was with his nurse practitioner Marie Williams. She was always available and answered all of my questions.

Dr. V is okay. The colonoscopy went fine. Polops were removed. Mediocre bedside manner. However, I'm living a huge headache with his staff and Aurora for billing my insurance improperly. Now I have a $2,000 bill for a procedure that my insurance said should be considered preventative (covered at 100 percent). Dr Vs nurse won't return my messages. Aurora billing was so very rude and stands by their billing codes. Amazingly my insurance is stepping in and helping. When my insurance says it convers a colonoscopy (including polop removal) every 5 years at 100 percent, then it IS NOT UP TO THE DOCTORS OFFICE OR AURORA OR WHOEVER to decide otherwise. I should not be treated rudely or be made to spend hours on the phone and writings message because Dr Vs staff billed my colonoscopy incorrectly, dismisses my concern, and refuses to fix it. Unbelievable that people have to go through this over such an important procedure ... a procedure required because of my age.
