Failed Bypass 2 months after surgery
Had a triple bypass in Dec 2020 and 2 months later it failed. ALmost died again and had to get rushed by ambulance for a catherization. I never saw Dr. Stamou again after my open heart surgery. The follow up was by a physician assistant.

He and his staff were courteous at all times. As a surgeon he was very caring and competent. He answered all my questions adequately. I felt I was literally in "good hands." I would certainly recommend him to others.

On February 6, 2017, I went in the hospital for a heart cath and hopefully a stent. By 1:00, I was in the operating room undergoing heart surgery as my left aorta was 99% blocked. I had a double bypass at 63. I thank Dr. Stamou for saving my life. The recovery has been good and I feel like a new person. I feel that February 6 is my new birthday as I have a new perspective on life. Dr. Stamou is a wonderful doctor.

Dr. Stamou patiently explained why my surgery was necessary and made me feel comfortable having him as my surgeon. He never made me feel rushed or pressured to have the surgery even though I was quite nervous.

Dr Stamos was very pleasant and took his time with our questions regarding the bypass surgery. After the surgery he spent time telling my family how the surgery went and what procedures he had to do and even went as far as making sure my tattoo that he unfortunately had to cut in half was put together as close to original as posible. It honestly felt like we were talking to a close friend than a dr. He was great to me and my family and I would recommend him to anyone needing surgery

Dr. Stamou is a miracle worker. Besides being a skilled surgeon he has a great bedside manner. At my post surgery visit he was extremely helpful answering questions in a way we were quickly able to understand. Dr. is a humble man with a heart that shows concern for not only the heart but his patient's complete welfare.
