It's been 20 months since Dr. Monaco placed an Infinity implant in my ankle. He saved my life. I had seen a well respected orthopedic practice that recommended ankle fusion. I knew that was not the answer for me. Dr. Monaco enthusiastically recommended the Infinity implant. I have never looked back. I am so fortunate to have him and grateful for his talent and expertise. He is my hero!!

Excellent knowledge and bedside manner!

He knew exactly what the problem was with my foot! RA flare-up. Never had a flare-up in my foot before, only in my hands, so I didn’t realize the foot swelling and pain was related to my hands flare-up at the same time. Makes sense now!!Very thankful to Dr Monaco!!

Personally

Dr. Monaco was very pleasant and politely shook my hand as he introduced himself. Exam was thorough and the treatment plan was clearly explained. Doctor is very knowledgeable and reassuring. All of my questions were answered.

Dr Monoco explained everything in detail..let us know what happened and told us the action plan. Took his time.

Dr. Monaco always displays a professional attitude every time I have seen him. His explanations of my ankle and feet are always very appropriate. I recommend him to everyone.

I went in with problems with my left foot. He took time to listen to everything I was saying. He also explained everything in full detail and took care of the issue. I would definitely recommend him to everyone.

Dr. Monaco is friendly, honest, and knows his stuff. He gave me time to get comfortable with surgery and didn’t push me. Glad I went through with it and with him - Osteochondral lesion (chipped off cartilage). Great experience overall. He does a good job setting realistic expectations for healing, and giving full information about potential outcomes of surgery. Fortunately the least invasive surgery was all I needed - but he got my consent ahead of time to do more if needed so I wouldn’t have to go under twice and it would be fixed up best as possible. Good guy.

Love the clean office. Polite receptionists. Great location. I came on my lunch hour and only had to wait 20 min to meet with the Dr. He was very nice. Helpful.

Quick review with update on surgery

Great surgery and after care to fix the metatarsal fracture in my foot by Dr. Monaco and his team. Everything went so well!

Dr. Monaco gave me great advise on timing of surgery. Had surgery done quickly and extremely happy with results. After 3 months of PT, I am back to jogging 4 months after surgery. I highly recommend Dr. Monaco and his Premier team.

I was referred to Dr. Monaco due to a work related injury, the severity of which made immediate relief desirable. I’ve always been physically active as a musician, caregiver and golfer, so the full use of my limbs is critical. I expressed my concerns when I met Dr. Monaco for the first time. He was confident that I’d be able to resume my passions post-surgery after physiotherapy. The results of the surgery were beyond my expectations. My Achilles tendon had been severed. Fourteen weeks later, I’m mobile and and through approximately twelve weeks of physiotherapy, I’m well on my way to a safe and comfortable recovery. I’d never known Dr. Monaco before the initial consultation, but it was a fortuitous meeting. I’d recommend him to anyone in need of critical foot surgery. His oversight and adjustments to my therapy protocol have been an added contribution to my recovery process. I’m grateful to Dr. Monaco for his skill and dedication to his patients.

Dr. Monaco did my ankle replacement earlier this year. Pain from a stress fracture caused me to get an x-ray which revealed my ankle was in very bad shape. Dr. Monaco went over my options and we decided together what was best for me. The procedure was successful with very little pain. The only downside was I could not put any weight on my foot for 3 weeks. That is a minor inconvenience for now having better mobility. I did not have to wait long for an appointment, the staff was helpful. I was in good hands with Dr. Monaco. I highly recommend him. SB

Doctor Spencer Monaco DPM, is an amazing podiatric foot & ankle surgeon with Premier Orthopedics. He had performed a bi-lateral ankle replacement for me 2 years ago which had given me the quality of life back. He shows empathy and his bedside manners are remarkable. He is reachable and always willing to listen to you, and answer any questions or concerns you may have.

Misdiagnosed, by first podiatrist, as arthritis in the joint behind the R big toe. Lived w/that for 2 yrs, then an alert physical therapist suggested a broken bone which sent me to Premier's podiatrist, De. Monaco, who properly diagnosed that broken bone first visit. Let me decide on when to operate @ their fine facility in Exton, & that facility is so much easier than a hospital. All the staff there were tops, both @ check in & nurses, best operation experience I've ever had. Only needed over counter pain meds, now 90% healed w/no pain @ 6 weeks. Dr. Monaco's patient manner, diagnostics & surgical skill is top shelf & he is a true craftsman, leaving me a grateful patient.
