Great first colonoscopy
I had a positive experience all around with Dr. Muddana. I was nervous, it being my first colonoscopy. He explained the procedure, what to expect, taking time for me to ask any questions. He discovered very minor things, reporting them promptly to me in a report. I will be returning to him in 5 years for my follow up. I had to wait. But I am one of many. I do not expect timeliness ever when visiting a doctor. Everyone is backed up (pun intended) these days.

I don't know what everyone else's problem is, but Dr. Muddana literally saved my life. My body was shutting down. No one knew why. I was told that it was hypochondria, anorexia, Munchausen syndrome. Come to find out, it was Celiac Disease. I still didn't heal properly. He found I had microscopic colitis. Just recently my stomach started acting up. He did an endoscopy and found I have chronic gastritis because I'd grown a tolerance to my antacids. This guy is amazing. If a doctor is behind schedule, it tells me that he cares more about his patients concerns than a 15 minute time limit. He's obviously going to recommend the solutions that are most common because most people are just eating wrong for their bodies. Do what he asks. If it doesn't work, he'll keep trying until you're ok. He's a doctor, not a robot. He has a heart and a brilliant mind. If you need someone to save your life, this is your doctor.

After being 45 minutes late, this doctor took one look at me and my symptoms list and gave me a generic IBS diagnosis. He told me that based on my diet alone, I couldn't possibly have any pathogens. Since I have autoimmune disease and am well-versed in what causes IBS & autoimmunity, I couldn't believe how ignorant & arrogant this so-called expert is. I ran my own tests and there are bugs galore in my gut that shouldn't be there. This guy will keep you sick as a dog. Don't waste your time/money.

Waited 45 minutes to find out that he was still another hour and a half behind schedule. The nurses I spoke to seemed all but surprised. Was told to arrive 1 hour prior to my appointment, then I watched 14 people go ahead of me. Finally had enough and left. Will not be returning.

I would not recommend this doctor. I am promptly switching doctors after an absolutely abysmal visit. He's not up-to-date on the latest research and was dismissive of my own personal research and experiences. I've been suffering for months with recurring symptoms and he didn't bother to suggest any tests until I started questioning him.
