Dr. Srikanth Malempati, MD

Dr. malempati is a great Doctor. He takes time to listens, and in emergency, will get you in to see him with in hours. He dose research, explains things, and is very frank about the situation in a caring way. The nurses are kind and caring, the front desk is busy, like all offices, but always gets the job done. I highly recommend him.

Those who have previously reported a lack of courtesy at this office were right on. The front desk has far too much to do and is almost always curt, interrupting and on one occasion downright rude. Nurse was not straightforward about her failure to follow up on a procedure. Dr. is good but not as good as he thinks he is and tends to overstate his credentials. Office will not provide information over the phone no matter how trivial; always insists on office visit. Dr. focuses on what he considers important and doesn't hear anything else. Office does get high marks for not keeping patients waiting.

I went to Dr. Malempati for about 6 months when first going on medicare. When I wanted to get the Covid-19 booster (I'm 65), not only did he say that my being overweight with high cholesterol and high BP (the reason I was initially recommended for the vaccine) didn't qualify me in his view. He had the nerve to say my previous MD shouldn't have recommended me for the initial Covid shots. I felt as if he didn't want me to be well. It was disappointing. I don't recommend this physician.

He is an excellent Doctor in every way!

Dr. Malempati is a wonderful and caring physician! I have multiple health issues and he has helped myself and my husband. His diagnostic skills are excellent! He has left his practice to open more clinics. I am thrilled with his replacement Dr. Sisodia is compassionate and she puts no limit on time spent! She has helped both John and I on many levels! I highly recommend Dr Sisodia!

I started with this office was under Dr. Bowman. I never saw him and after selling his practice to the medical corporation (like many doctors) things got worse. I was seeing doctor Malempati until he climbed the corp. ladder and became the head doctor prematurely. After that I was bounced around to every half rated doctor. I ended up with Doctor Francis. What a horror show. Because of her I missed my opportunity to get a very painful back operation. This office is the worse of Crop. owned offices. I wish I had saw these reviews before I went there.

Horrible Staff at St Pete office! Saw Dr only 1 time. (Numerous times setting staff not wearing masks!) & when asked front office woman why.. she sarcastically said we’re 6 ft apart ... I said ., because I’m standing way back. Head Physician Asst very rude! They have me listed as taking a lot of medications. I don’t take any medications! I asked to have it removed from my record or I would change doctors. She turned to look at me & loudly stated “Are you threatening me? I’m putting this in your record.” I refused test she was ordering & left & changed Doctor!

This DR is wrong with many of his diag. He has been wrong about many things and some could have been deadly. Most people can be a doctor if they study but not everyone should be a Dr. and this is one of them that should not as its a safety health issue for public. DO NOT GO TO HIM.

Very pleasant & professional office. As a part time resident to Florida and Virginia, office always make transition smooth easy and without interruption. Would very much recommend this primary care physician and always feel comfortable with Nurse practitioner....Tara.! Front office attendant "Mary" makes the entire experience painless and able to answer questions by her dedication and her on call ability to get the job done. Thanks!

Even though I was listed as his patient, I have never met the man. I saw only the ARNP in St. Petersburg. He has sent two letters to me that were extremely rude and abrasive, ordering me to do various tests. If his letters are any indication, I don't ever want to met this man. The ARNP in St. Petersburg was excellent.

I have always had a wonderful experience with this doctor. He is VERY thorough and extremely nice and considerate. I recommend him to everyone I know!

His office staff girl April Is the most unfriendly and inconsiderate person ever dealt with in a dr office. She should be fired.

Dr Malempati didn’t identify a problem with prescribing 20 mg of oxycodone every three hours after shoulder surgery and then kept him on it for months. When I suggested trying another medication, he stormed out of the office and said he didn’t want to hear any names of other medications in his presence. As far as Coumadin goes, he does not have the slightest idea how to therapeutically manage a patient on Coumadin. He didn’t even check his INR for several years. We are changing doctors this yr.

It’s bad enough that our medical system is one in which insurance companie clerics, not trained doctors, dictate the care we get in this county. it’s worse when doctors support and further that system along by giving the power to override another doctors order to their own untrained staff. Shame on Dr Malempati for giving his staff such power !!!!!!! And shame on Trisha for lying and for overriding my surgeon's request for an m.r.i. and refusing to have it scheduled.

I can easily recommend this physician to any individual who's seeking superb primary care. He's a patient listener, he's thorough, and his colleagues and staff are next to excellent.

He's a very calm and thorough doctor I enjoyed my visit with him very much. I would recommend him to friends family and clients

Dr. Malemati is very knowledgeable with an easy chair side manner. He listens well and takes the appropriate action(s) necessary to help the patient be successful in clearing up the problem(s).
