Today, 04/23/2024, I was called by office manager, Lavonia, who left a barely coherent message stating they were canceling our appointments for 04/25/2024 and we would not be seen in this office again. Ok firstly, my wife made appointments for she and I to both be seen by Doctor Srinivas Panja back in the beginning of December. The appointments are for serious medical conditions. On Monday, 04/22/2024, Doctor Panjas staff called my wife to confirm our appointments. My wife said yes, we’ll be there Thursday, the woman said ok great , we’ll see you both then. My wife said, wait, don’t we need bloodwork for this visit? She said, oh yeah sorry. I’ll call the order in for both of you. My wife said, ok and can you please ensure the order gets called in to the same lab. Last time, you guys sent our orders to two different labs. The woman said, yes, no problem, I have sent the orders and we’ll see you guys on Thursday. My wife said, ok great, are there any notes for the order? Do we need to be fasting? She said no, you’re good to go. Today, after going to other Doctors appointments, we went in to do our bloodwork, we arrived after 2:00pm and my wife checked us in. The lab tech came out and asked for our insurance card. The lab tech came back out a few minutes later and said, she had an order for my wife, but nothing for me, the tech said do you want to call while you guys are still here to see if we can get it done. My wife called Doctor Panja’s office and as usual, they didn’t answer and my wife left a message. My wife said, I’m going to keep calling, we need to get the bloodwork done. They finally answered and said, sorry, we sent your husband’s order to a different lab. Mind you, my wife had already asked for it to be sent to the same place. They said, they were going to resend it to the lab we’re at. After a few minutes, the technician comes out and asked if I was fasting? We said no, they said I didn’t need to. The technician said, I’m sorry, the order states you need to be fasting. My wife called the Doctors Office again and they didn’t answer. The technician stated, you can come back in the morning. We said, we’ll do that. My wife kept calling the Doctors office and finally got someone. She explained to the woman that she had made these appointments almost five months back and that my wife had to remind them that we needed bloodwork and asked them to ensure our lab orders were sent to the same place. (We live almost 2 hours from the Doctors office.) The woman stated, we’re going to have to reschedule you guys because we’re not going to get the lab results back in time. She said she had appointments for us 3 months from now on different days, my wife said no, that’s unacceptable. We’ve been waiting almost 5 months for these appointments and I booked them for the same day because we live almost 2 hours away and my husband is out of his medications for high blood pressure and diabetes!! The woman said, well that’s the earliest appointment I have available. My wife asked to speak with the office manager. Lavonia gets on the phone and regurgitates the same nonsense the other woman said. My wife told her, we’ve had these appointments for almost five months and I had to remind you that we needed bloodwork. I asked your office to ensure you sent our lab orders to the same place, which you didn’t do. I asked if we needed to be fasting and you guys said no and now it turns out we do need to be fasting and now, after doing your jobs for you repeatedly, you’re telling me that you can’t squeeze us in somewhere. I told my wife, I don’t want to be seen by these people, they are highly incompetent. My wife told the office manager, I need to speak with Doctor Panja, does he know how incompetent you guys are? Lavonia answered yes he does and my wife and I started laughing. I said, well at least she’s honest. Lavonia stated she deals with people like us all the time. My wife said what does that mean? Lavonia then got nasty and my wife cussed her out and Lavonia hung up on her.

Office staff incompetent and rude
The doctor is awesome, but unfortunately the staff is the worst. They are always Messing up my lab orders and my refills and they are super rude about it. Unfortunately I do not recommend this office.

Dr. Panja seems to be very knowledgeable & honest. I appreciate him noticing an error in bone density results from a different source that he was not affiliated with.

I have seen Dr Panja for almost 6 years. I was surprised that someone with his level of skill and his high degree of curiosity would practice in a community setting. Dr. Panja is the sort of physician you'd expect to find at a research hospital or university-affiliated practice. I have an unusual metabolic condition that was causing severe disability, and I had seen at least 2 other board-certified endocrinologists before coming to Dr Panja with my test results in hand. He was willing to listen and willing to truly partner with me in treating my condition, which has vastly improved. Dr. Panja is very friendly, and my visits with him feel more like a chat with a good friend than like a medical checkup.

Dr. Panja is great. His staff doesn’t answer the phone. The office staff is rude. I could hear them laughing and talking about myself and another patient saying “they’ll have to wait for their test strips now “ when I complained that my insurance wouldn’t take a fax for prescriptions, that I would need a hard copy. The office staff leaves me feeling that they don’t care about me or my health. I wouldn’t go to this office at all if Dr. Panja wasn’t such a great doctor.

He is an excellent endocrinologist & has treated my entire family & several friends experiencing thyroid problems & A1C issues. He is very knowledgeable & conservative in his treatment approach & addresses each concern or health issue individually. His office staff has improved greatly & are much more efficient than in the past. I highly recommend Dr. Panja if you suspect or know you have thyroid problems.

Dr. Panja is very friendly and compassionate about helping you with your medical concerns, First of all he is a very good listener and is very knowledgeable in his field. I have been to other Endocrinologists in the area and they were not able to pinpoint my problem and left disappointed each time until I was referred to Dr. Panja by one of my Cardiologist. Dr. Panja was able to quickly diagnosis and treat my medical condition with ease. I have not felt this great in years. THANKS Dr. Panja.

Dr. Panja was the 1st of 20 Dr.s to FINALLY diagnose me with Cushings! He actually listened to what I was saying and what I said my symptoms were and didn't dismiss me as some hypochondriac or worse reply "You can't feel that "or " That's not possible". THANK YOU DR. PANJA VERY FEW PEOPLE ARE AWARE OF CUSING'S AND BY THE TIME MOST ARE DIAGNOSED THEIR BODIES ARE DAMAGED.

My experience with Dr. Panja was fine. He seems to be a kind man and was easy to talk to. He spent an appropriate amount of time with me during my appointment. The reason for 2 stars, I went in on May 22, had my blood drawn. They said it would only take a couple of days for the results. I gave them a week before I called on May 29. They had my results however Dr Panja had not had time to review them so bottom line after many calls, I finally got test results back June 3

This doctor cannot seem to answer the phone at his office. I don't know what his staff is doing when the phone rings, but nobody ever bothers to answer. Just music for 45 minutes. This is the case every time I call his office. I am done wasting my time with this doctor, I will find another doctor who can at least answer the phone. Furthermore, wait times in the office are far too long. My time is valuable, too, but this dr. has no consideration for his patient's time.

I am picky about the doctor's I see for various reasons. There are those few doctors that instead of going to medical school for the money, they go so they can learn to genuinely help people with their medical issues. Dr. Panja is one of those doctors that care about his patients. No, I am not advertising for him. Like I have said before, I am picky about the doctors I see and the ones I continue to see are very good doctors. He will treat you like a friend, not another number.
