Dr. Stacey Gold, MD

The experience I had with this doctor was nothing short of traumatic. She started by saying my baby may have a rocker bottom foot based on a blurry ultrasound picture. Then started offering genetic counseling and an amniocentesis. Mind you there are risks involved in receiving an amniocentesis such as women may lose the pregnancy or go into early labor as a result. I had clear NIPT results so I was blindsided by what she was saying. I walked out of there thinking my baby had a genetic condition or chromosomal anomaly. I was emotionally distraught following that visit. She proceeded to call me the next day to say she showed a colleague the photos and they did not feel it was a rocker bottom foot and now she too was leaning towards it not being so. I feel as a medical professional who is working with women who are pregnant it may be beneficial to truly investigate something before offering up services that may not even be needed or could result in pregnancy loss.

Terrible terrible bedside manner. Lack of experience. Made me get a fetal MRI and that and 2 other ultrasounds that were done elsewhere saw the baby's brain which was not seen by doctor gold. She does not know what she is doing and would never ever recommend her.

Dr. Gold is a kind and compassionate person who really helped me through a difficult time in my pregnancy. She made me feel safe to do further testing with her, completed it successfully, and got me some difficult answers that may have gone unknown if not for her diligence. I am so grateful.
