I found him to be very arrogant and it was proven today. I saw him 6 yrs age for a sinus infection. Last month I requested my medical records. The office says it takes up to 30 days, The request was given to the doctor twice and he declined it twice. In Reno, nv you can't see a different doctor without medical records. How full of himself. DO NOT GO TO STACY HUDSON ENT.

First time, lost hearing in one ear. He sent me for hearing aid for the one ear with no further testing or follow up. Absolutely, missed a big medical issue! Second time I went in with horrible clacking tinnitus. Basically said live with it. Finally found UCSF docs that diagnosed me with middle ear myoclonus. I suffered several years because of his incompetence. I felt belittled and arrogantly sent away. Shame on you!

Terrible
Dr Hudson dislocated my jaw while he was doing the procedure and had the nerve to tell me I was loud. Moaning in pain is not allowed apparently. 5 months later my nasal drip is worse than ever. I had a terrible experience with him.

Terrible experience! Negative 5!
I would not recommend this practice or Dr. Hudson to anyone, for many reasons. The scheduling staff was rude and condescending. Hudson was very strange, and the interaction was very uncomfortable. He comes off as arrogant and dismissive. He could not provide any insight into symptoms. He sent me to obtain an expensive CT scan. I went through with the scan, and then waited for the practice to contact me to provide me some guidance and continued patient care. No one called. I was ghosted by the Hudson office. Until, weeks later, the practice manager began to email and call me to harass me concerning a small remaining balance! When asked why I did not receive any follow-up care, not even a courtesy call, she had no reply. They sent a collection agency to harass me as well.I finally went to another practice that figured out the root cause and solution – all without spending hundreds of dollars on unneeded procedures. In short, I was neglected as a patient and was harassed by the p

Excellent
If only all practices would emulate Dr. Hudson ‘s office. Superior knowledge, great staff, very accommodating and communicative. And Dr. Hudson has all the latest information and experience to do the latest procedures with ease.

I was not happy with this doctor and switch to another ENT. I thought everything was going okay until on my 3rd visit I asked a question about what he suggested I put into my ear to get my hearing back. An Audiologist (who he recommended) jerked the wax out of my ear and tore skin out. Blood was poring from my ear, once it stopped I was sent back to Dr. Hudson. He had me on a liquid medication for several weeks which did not help. I was deaf in that ear after that. Then he suggested I flood the ear with olive oil and once I asked him "why olive oil" (since I never heard of that before) he got mean and started ranting about he was the doctor and he has the medical degree. He changed to a very nasty person who berated me for ten minutes. He did not like being questioned. Don't go here if you like to know what is going on with your health and ask questions and be informed. This was the worst experience I ever had with a doctor.

I tried to schedule any appointment via a referral from my audiologist, but it took five days for the staff to get back to me after I left my first message. In the meantime, I asked for a referral to another ENT and got an appointment the same day. It's too bad, because my wife had an excellent experience with a procedure that Dr. Hudson performed on her a few years ago.

I would not trust my ear, nose and throat to anyone else. Dr. Hudson is comforting and caring. His bedside manner is perfect and his knowledge is genius level. I trust him entirely. My entire immediate family and extended family sees him. I've had two very successful surgeries and my daughter has had one. I am able to breath through my nose thanks to Dr. Hudson!!! So very, very happy he's my ENT!!!

Dr Hudson may be a good doctor. But, I tried to get an appointment after I got a referral, but staff never got back to me. They gave me the run-a-round about the referral. I'll go elsewhere.

Dr.Hudson performed my tonsillectomy in less than 30 minutes. The surgery went well and I recovered a week 1/2 later. The medicine he prescribed helped a lot and I am so glad to have gotten my tonsillectomy. Funny surgeon ! Best ent no doubt

I was referred by my regular Doctor - I got the run-around for 12 days while I tried to make an appointment. I left messages multiple times but not even the courtesy to call me back (even though message said they would within 24 hours). Finally after 12 days and multiple phone calls they finally tell me that they do not take patients for anything but sinus related issues. The staff here treated me like crap and I wasted 12 days while I could have been making other arrangements. Not impressed

I would recommend him. Dr Hudson did my tonsillectomy in 2011 and I didn't have any complications and they took good care of me. Since then I have not needed to go back. I am planning on going to him for a possible new issue now but it has been 5 years since he did my last surgery and this is something completely different. I am glad he stayed in reno because doctors in reno keep leaving!

had a good first two appointments and a horrible follow-up appointment. In the follow-up he did not provide a level or comfort of expertise that I would have expected. He was down right condescending and unprofessional. What a waste of time it has been dealing with him. Awful!!

Dr. Hudson is a great ENT. But, I have been slow-played by the office, and am still suffering from chronic allergic rhinitis, ear congestion and sinusitis without successful long term treatment. Over the past year, one cancelled appt with only 30 min notice from staff, 1 hr wait after people who arrived after me were all taken back, and often told 6 weeks wait time for an appt. Called for an appt last week, and was told that I now need a new referral from my doctor. Back to square one now.
