Noncommunicative, Wait weeks to get results that have been posted. Dismissed my concerns.

Dr. Hershfeld has been my doctor for several years. I have always found her to be knowledgeable, personable, and respectful of the fact that my healthcare decisions are ultimately mine. She listens to me and offers her expert advice on any concerns and questions I have - I feel that we are a team. She is very prompt in responding to med refills and prior authorizations for meds, as well as reviewing labs, visits, and getting everything onto the patient portal (which is also user-friendly). Her MA is amazing too, and the front office staff are all wonderful. I feel fortunate to have Dr. Hershfeld as my physician.

Dr Hershfeld has been my PCP for about 6 years. At first she was great and super attentive. Fast forward to about a year or so ago and she is now useless. Getting appointments, getting medication refills or getting a message to her and a response is damn near impossible. Instead of treating very basic things like normal asthma or a throat infection she wants to refer you to every specialist to treat the issue and that is so bizarre to me. She is a doctor that is supposed to treat these things. Nope, not her. I'm actually filling out the records release for my new PCP that comes very highly recommended. Good luck to any of her future patients.

I am new to the state, and my insurance company assigned Dr. Hershfeld to me. I have been trying for 8 months to get an appointment. In order to get an INITIAL appointment, you have to forward all your medical records to a doctor you have never seen before. Then they call you to schedule an appointment. They never called. I called again to schedule an appointment, and they said they never received my records, and I have to go through the whole process again, and won't see me unless I am well.

I have enjoyed Dr Hershfeld, she is informed and thorough, discusses options with me and allows me to make a decision on the level of testing I want. I have moved 2 hours away 3 years ago and still travel to Farmington to see her because I cannot imagine changing doctors. She has call in hours and Saturday visits. I've never not been able to get in when needed.
