Inappropriate and horrible bedside manner
This doctor is one of the worst I’ve ever experienced. His staff enables his grotesque behavior. He treats me for hematology and one of my goals was to conceive since I’ve had multiple miscarriages. In one visit, he waited for his nurses to walk away and proceeded to tell me how I should try to conceive. It was creepy and predatory. He knew it was inappropriate because he stopped talking the minute his nurse walked in. He’s asked me multiple times what I do for a living. He’s discriminatory of women of color and seems to want to test my education level. He even forced me to give him my email so that he can send his sons resume to me. He spends all but 1 min with you and does not tell you what is wrong. I still don’t really understand my diagnosis. Lastly, and the worst of it. He handed me another patients entire medical record and asked me to share those with my OBGYN. I don’t trust my information is in the right hands and I will be reporting him to HIPPA.

THANK YOU!
My fertility dr recommended I see dr waintraub. I am so grateful I did. Without him I know I would not be a mom today! I have since referred him to many people who have miscarried or have non sticking tested embryos.

An Angel on earth
Doctor Waintraub is a great professional, his team is also the best, he doesn't doubt when you have any pain during cancer treatment he immediately send you scans, mri whatever is needed. That's how they discovered my back pain was not ciatica. Immediately spoke with me, give me the best treatment, Dr waintraub make me feel strong, give me hope, and the best treatment I could have.

On my first visit. Dr. Waintraub barely looked at me and ask me point blank why didn't i opt for a double mascectomy. I was astounded at how abrupt he was. Second and last visit after the surgery, I started asking him a question about meds he was prescribing and he cut me off and said if I want to live I will do what he tells me. He proceeded to tell me how many years he has worked and he knows best. I look at his nurse and she seemed shocked. I never went back. I am now at Valley Hospital with an excellent surgeon

He has not time for you. He wont allow to ask you question. He acts like he is working for free as someone mentioned earlier. He is a grumpy grand pa. Luckily i don't have to get treated by this doctor.

I took my daughter to see Dr waintraub for low platelets count while she’s pregnant He only saw her for a minute didn’t ask her anything and won’t have time to let us ask him about it It’s like he’s working for free .Doctors should do their job with some respect and patience which he doesn’t have he should have chosen a different career I don’t recommend him at all

In my darkest hour Dr. Waintraub was the light that got me through my cancer battle. He isn’t going to give you sunshine and lollipops and shoot the breeze with you. He is a straight shooter who will tell you exactly what is happening. He appreciates well informed patients who are active participants in their own treatment. I prayed to God when I was diagnosed with stage 3B breast cancer in 2010 & my prayers were answered when I was referred to Dr. Waintraub. I will forever be grateful.

Though I can't speak for him as a doctor, I can speak of his receptionists. My mother has breast cancer and called his office asking to make an appointment. Rather than help my mother, a receptionist (who said her name was Danielle) belittled and mocked my mother's accent (English is not her first language but she speaks it well enough). If this is a representation of Dr. Waintraub's practice as a whole then we will be seeking treatment elsewhere.

In my experience with him he seems to have a complete lack of patient perspective. Maybe it's because he deals in cancer every day, but we don't and now that this is our reality, a little dialogue and sensitivity would go a long way. Does not listen well and seems to be running out the door as soon as he can. Provides very little information and leaves us with his nurse who doesn't seem qualified to be doing his job (and to be fair to her, she shouldn't have to be)
