I would have left a zero if there was such an option. I didn’t get anything out of visiting this doctor, no testing, no additional medical examination, no treatment options, that is why I don’t trust the level of his professionalism. Besides, Dr. Stefan Scholz did not wash his hands before the examination, at the COVID-19 time! He examined my child twice, the first time he put on gloves on dirty hands, the second time I had to remind him myself, to put on gloves!!!

Our 14 yr old D had an Ovarian Mass, I am so thankful Dr Scholz was her Surgeon, I remember him walking into the ER that frightful morning & just his presence, how he explained the situation brought us more calm than any other we encountered. He is warm, does all he can to answer every question a parent may have plus he is a superb Surgeon, one of the very Best, so we were told a # of times during our stay at Children's. Daughter recovered quickly, couldn't ask for a better experience.

Dr. School is a wonderful doctor and surgeon. He did a great job with our son's hernia surgery, and answered all our questions. Would recommend him highly.

About 4 years ago, my son needed emergent surgery at 4 weeks of age for an inguinal hernia. I am thankful to this day that Dr. Scholz was his surgeon and will never forget our experience with him. Not only did he provide kindness and support during that terrifying time, but he also took authoritative charge after my son was stuck for IV placement several times to no avail to ensure that it was placed. He also made an astute decision that obviated the need to resect unnecessarily.
