I'm really surprised about all these negative reviews! Dr. May is AWESOME! He always listens. He takes my opinions and suggestions into consideration. He's always open to different treatments and will give me ideas of things I can do to improve my situation (old back injury). He is a talker for sure but, he still listens.

My husband was referred to Dr. May due to having a horrible reaction to medication due to a heart issue during the beginning of Covid. He first of all told us that it was not a reaction to medication but indeed was because he was old...(63). He stated that man was never meant to walk uprightly...meaning evolution...and spoke to us as though we were ignorant that we didn't know that. He did not listen to a word we said, but gave us his opinion within the first minute without any tests of any kind. When we asked him how he knew that it was not a reaction to medication, he belittled us in explaining he deals with 'old people' every day, and he knows what he's talking about. Bottom line, we went to a 'specialist' who took him off the medication and immediately he was better. This kid is arrogant and needs to listen to his reviews and change his ways, or try another line of work.

Talked all the time and did not listen at all. Kept saying he did not have time to look at blood tests. Misdiagnosed my cancer. Needs to stop talking and listen.

Dr. May and his team go out of their way to help me with my chronic issues, medications, and he also spends a great deal "extra" time in our office visits. Sometimes I have to wait a few minutes, but I know that is because he is giving the person before me the same courtesy. It is a rarity to find this in a doctor any more. He also explains both sides of a medication or procedure, recommends getting a second opinion if you are not sure, and is generally a good man and trusts the patient.

Doctor is very by the book, does not think outside the box for complex medical conditions. Patients opinions and suggestions are almost immediatly dismissed without thought for patients quality of care and quality of life. Can be very rude and talk down to patient. Likes to show off and use big words without explaining what they mean.
