Great Doctor!
Dr. Sweet has been amazing! I lived with pain from a shoulder problem for years. It dramatically limited my ability to enjoy my favorite recreational activities. After moving to the Central Coast, I was unable to find a local orthopedist who could competently address the issue (including one who told me to just “treat it with drugs for the rest of my life”). I found Dr. Sweet through an internet search and was thoroughly impressed by his educational and work credentials. I got a prompt appointment and evaluation by his very capable Nurse Practitioner, Helena, and I received a call a few days later from his surgical staff to schedule my surgery. The arthroscopic procedure was a huge success and I am pain free and completely off pain medication. Dr. Sweet and his staff are very professional, and he has a good sense of humor. He was excellent at explaining the surgery to me, including the specific results. It was well worth the 2.5 hour drive to be treated by him, and I will recommend him

I was referred to Dr. Sweet and had to make a 2 hour drive each way per visit but I am extremely happy with my decision. All of the care prior, during & post surgery was amazing. I always felt very comfortable with Dr. Sweet and had a very successful surgery to repair my torn labrum, which included detaching/reattaching my bicep. I would highly recommend Dr. Sweet to anyone

Dr Sweet did a reverse shoulder replacement four months ago and I am up to close to 90percent of a healthy shoulder which is very good. My shoulder was completely shot. I was unable to work, sleep, comb my hair and everything else that goes along with life. I am very happy with Dr Sweet , his office and the outcome. 15 years of problems including rotator cuff surgery and a painful life I feal normal and it is amazing. Visit this guy and you can regain your life again.

Dr. Sweet is a wonderful doctor. He is a great person and takes time to explain everything and get feedback from the patient. His office staff is fantastic, helpful and kind. He's usually super busy and you may sometimes have to wait - both for an appointment and to see him, but the end result and overall experience is well worth it.

Dr. sweet is truly a fantastic orthopedic surgeon. He is thorough and honest. He takes the time to answer questions and has an excellent bedside manner. Dr. Sweet helped me with my knee, my daughter with her hip and just completed shoulder surgery on my husband. He takes the time in surgery to do the best for each patient. He is the best orthopedic surgeon around. Thank you Dr. Sweet for taking such good care of us!

Of the three orthopedic surgeons I consulted he was the only one that mention the path of stem cell injection versus shoulder replacement. The procedure took place in his office with a radiologist to guide the needle. Next day back working with minor pain. Many thanks Dr. Sweet!

It must have been a hectic day for Dr. Sweet on the day I had my appointment. He was abrupt and I would not use compassionate in describing him. I asked about having a knee block instead of spinal block. I had that done 7 months ago on my other knee. He said that was old style of doing knee replacement. Then said, "I guess there is more than one way to skin a cat". I am a senior and I felt he was disrespectful and frustrated with me. I am glad he has done a good job for others.

Dr. Sweet was recommended to me after months of unsatisfactory results with another doctor. He ordered an MRI, which I should have had long before, and discovered a torn miniscus. I soon had surgery & can finally walk & go up & down stairs again! So happy! He did a great job and is very personable. I would gladly recommend him to anyone. Thank you, Dr. Sweet!

I had a torn rotator cuff and lots of accumulation of calcium deposits in my right shoulder. I was in a lot of pain despite trying steroid injections and physical therapy. Dr. Sweet evaluated me and recommended arthroscopic surgery. He is down to earth and explained my condition in terms that I understood. He was very patient and took his time when I had any questions. He performed the surgery and now I am 6 months post-op with full range of motion. You are awesome! Thank you so much.

I would more than recommend Dr Sweet... I would INSIST to any family or friends who need an orthopedic surgeon that they go to see him. He is an amazing doctor. I fractured my kneecap (patella) in to 8 pieces and holy jigsaw puzzles Batman he put it back together and I am well on to my way to recovery! Throughout this whole ordeal he has been so awesome! He is compassionate, reassuring and just puts you at ease immediately! I wish I could rate with more than 5 stars!!

I was diagnosed with a distal biceps rupture a week before Christmas 2015. Dr. Sweet immediately offer to see me when others were too busy with the Holidays. He examined me and clearly explained my situation. A week later, the day after Christmas he operated on me. The surgery was a total success! 3 months later I have full use of my hand and my arm. I highly recommend Dr. Sweet as an Orthopedic Surgeon.
