Concerned About Patients
I have been a patient of Dr. Casselman's for several years. She is caring, kind, efficient and direct. She'll give you her professional advice, but as an adult let's you choose your direction. She always remembers to remind me and give me referrals for mammograms and lab work. She's been my favorite Las Vegas Dr. I think her staff do a good job too.

BEWARE
Dr. Casalman is a very condescending person. I have seen things about doctors not doing the best for patients I never thought I would have to endure such awful care. She does the bare minimum. The only thing she does is check the breathing. She does not care about anything I tell her, she deflect and then says “well if you want me to”. I have a rash she didn’t even check. I have to ask her do you want to see it. Then she says “oh yes”. You get about 5 minutes of her time where she does not make eye contact or answer your questions. If you want a doctor that care please pick someone else. She will give you the runaround and never help.

Weak uncaring physician.
Does the minimum she can. And will not seek to help with the medical insurance. If you want a mediocre doctor she is it.

Dr. Bourgault was retiring and working less. Referred to Dr. Casalman in the same office. Saw her for 6 years. Was the same routine each time. Review blood work, listened to mv heart, BP and that’s it! Couple minutes and I'm outta there. I am in my 70s, otherwise healthy, take no medications, take a ton of vitamins, and walk 3 to 6 miles a day. My insurance requires I am seen every 6 months. On one occasion, I told her I was having heel pain. She told me to stop walking so much. Another time, I had gynecological issue. She told me to stop having sex! She neither referred a specialist nor offered any remedies. Why be a doctor? At some point, you say enough-is-enough! I contacted my insurance company. Two consultants found a perfect doctor for me. My first appointment was 45 minutes. Much of the time was spent going over my medical history and getting acquainted. She had me do a quick physical work up. Got referrals. No more heel pain and Gynecology issue solved, in less than 6 months!

Dr Casalman is great! She needs to replace all her office staff, terrible! Unfortunately you have to get past them to see the doctor or get referrals. They are ruining her name...omg!

I would NEVER recommend this doctor. UrgertCare referral dr. in needing prompt care for current Vertigo, past thyroid removal & subsequential medication monitoring as well as BP monitoring. Upon submitting the required list of medications I am on, (some additional meds for anxiety were not being sought, nor would be, as my CA. PCP was maintaining them while a psyciatrist here was being secured here , I was still refused service. Cried & begged that going without treatment would be dangerous. The "priviledge" of an appt. still denied. What would a more feeble and elderly person do? Ambulances & ER's turn out to be expensive. This doctor was irresponsible, uncaring and unconcerned about the serious health effects possibly occurring due to what I feel is her baffling perspective on true health care. In retrospect, it's best my appt. was refused after all. From now on I'll be sure that MY doctor's first qualification is First Do No Harm. What a fruitless Medi(no)CARE experience.

I attended my mother's appointment with Dr. Casalman and can not recommend her highly enough. She spent a lot of time with us and listened to my concerns. My mother is 88, not always lucid or clear in her thoughts, but Dr. Casalman treated her with dignity and respect. She was also open to having me in the room during the exam and welcomed my questions.

Totally unimpressed! They refused to give me a referral for a specialist for high blood calcium. I was told that I needed to wait a few months and check again. I had to bypass them and force the referral with my insurance. I ended up having to have surgery to fix this issue. Dr. Casalman should have realized she couldn't help me and referred me to someone who could. I'm totally unimpressed and strongly recommend you don't go to this doctor. Especially if you have serious medical problems.

I don't normally leave reviews, but this Drs. office is a joke! My wife called and made an appointment, took time off of work, and was refused service! Wow, she had a cold and they wouldn’t see her cause she listed that in the past she experienced joint pain. I've never heard of that in my entire life. If there are conditions that may cause a refusal of service, then they should clarify those conditions before scheduling an appointment. Poorly ran operation if you ask me. Stay away from here!

Took my mother to see this doctor as a new patient, but was turned away at her appointment in the office after being told that she will not do referrals to anyone who needs to see a pain management doctor, even after explaining that she has spinal stenosis and bulging discs in the neck, as well as essential tremors, and that we just needed a referral (was not asking the doctor to write a prescription). Evidently this doctor only sees healthy patients, and they are not allowed to be in pain.
