Negative experience with Dr. Higgins, MO and OR
I had a negative experience with Dr. Higgins. She's an OB-GYN who practiced or does practice in Missouri and Oregon. I was scared because she didn't, or couldn't, answer many medical questions. Then I felt high pressured into a surgery by her, which I now understand wasn't necessary. I also felt mislead, because she told me certain risks would not happen due to my age, but then they did. And when they did, I felt pushed off and discarded by her. I've had chronic pain since, and her reaction was cold and uncaring. So I asked for a different provider, who was much kinder and had some answers. But later, Dr. Higgin's office staff told me other patients had similar complaints about her... I'd never heard office staff talk badly about their own provider before. I don't like doing a negative review, but maybe this can help others. Mistakes can happen, but misleading and pressuring people, whether or not they are scared and vulnerable, seems wrong.

The most heartless provider I've ever seen. Argued semantics, as well as refused to inform herself on a condition she wasn't familiar with by reading any studies.
