I have been a patient of Dr. Stephanie Iem, D.O., for two years. She is an outstanding physician in Escondido, CA, who embodies compassionate and comprehensive patient care principles. Trust and peace of mind are invaluable in doctor-patient relationships. Knowing I have always been able to trust in Dr. Iem’s medical knowledge, and ability to diagnose, treat, and/or appropriately refer to specialist(s) gives me the peace of mind to know my family and I are in the best of care. Speaking of care…Dr. Iem actually DOES care about her patients. She has followed up on results when other past providers have not. As an added bonus, she is the nicest person you can know. She feels like family. Our family has been happy to have her as our primary physician since 2010. Ps: She and her husband are both primary care physicians in the same office.

I've had the pleasure of being a patient of Dr. Iem on and off (due to moving out of state) since 2019 and I have to say that when I saw that Sharp was offered by my employer (there was around 30 plans offered), I knew immediately I would sign up for Sharp JUST to be able to be her patient again. She is the most caring, down-to-earth, honest and helpful doctor I have ever worked with. I'm not just a name in her appointment book, I am a PERSON to her that MATTERS. She doesn't just listen to me, she HEARS me. She cares about my well-being and helps me with anything and everything and has always been so compassionate with me. I cannot recommend her enough. Dr. Iem is the best physician I have seen in years. She is comprehensive in her assessments and thorough in her explanations, taking extra care to reassure me of the reasoning behind her conclusions.

HORRIBLE! She LIED under oath and I have the medical records to prove it. Who would want a Dr. who lies? It is a sad world when people lie.

Dr. Iem is the best primary care doctor I have ever had. There are three key things to consider when choosing Dr. Iem: 1. If you want a primary that will spend all the time you need to address your concerns or a medical issue she is right for you. If it is 10 minutes or 40 she will take the time. 2. If you are looking for someone to help research options, she is right for you. 3. If you want to speak to a HUMAN when you call and get a call back from your doctor right away, Dr. Iem is the best for you. She really cares about her patients and her office staff reflects that care and compassion. I would recommend her to any of my friends or family. Dr. Iem is amazing.

Caring, has the ability to listen, doesn't through prescriptions that you've never heard of at you and takes the time to discuss options and her suggestions. Appreciate her help.
