Dr. Stephanie Jones, MD

I saw Dr. Jones today. I found her to be extremely professional and thorough. She spent a considerable amount of time, asking questions and examinging me. I was very pleased with her honesty and compassion.

After a referral from another UTSW physician, my husband went to Dr. Jones for months only to find out she wasn’t even actively treating all of his chronic pain areas/symptoms. It was a huge waste of time and money. There was no noticeable difference in pain much less an active plan communicated to us to manage the pain. Very disappointing and disheartening for someone in severe chronic pain. The upside was the pain management program that is a combination of PT, psychiatric, and pain mgmt but that seemed to be managed outside of Dr. Jones’ office (thankfully!). We’re now exploring options in another hospital system.

Do not waste your time here. This woman clearly operates under fear. Makes excuses not to treat you or dump you as a patient. When she can't point to a contract you violated she will site unknown trust issues. Then blames the patient for her lacking protocols or professionalism in her staff. Do not waste your time here, amateur, accusatory and low budget.

Dr. Jones has a complete lack of empathy or compassion for her patients. I went in with a recommendation of specific treatment from my surgeon, she ignored it, offered another treatment option which I unfortunately agreed to. I did all of the intake appointments,stopped my medication, then her response was to tell me that I would need to find another dr because she was full and only accepting cancer and perioperative patients.Completely wasted 6 wks of my time and left me in worse pain.

Dr Jones is completely unprofessional. We drove almost an hour, took off work and arrived at our appointment time. They told us she would not see us and we needed to reschedule after waiting in pain for over a month to see her! The office mgr was just as unprofessional; threatened to call security because I insisted to speak with her boss about this. Dr. Jones is a joke. I believe she did not complete my treatment plan and cancelled "at her discretion" with no regard for her patient.

I wouldn't know what Dr. Jones service is like because she canceled my appointment AFTER I had already showed up to her office at my scheduled time. I missed work to attend this appointment and I was in severe pain, which is why I was going to see her. The "best" her staff could do for a reschedule was two weeks out. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable.
