I have severe glaucoma went to CEI ER with severe pain & red eye, which was also swollen and well as the trab in my eye. Told her there was something wrong with the trab as it was also swollen and had red blood around it. She stated my vision was ok and pressure was OK. When I asked her about the pain, she told me to stop rubbing my eye, which of course I do not do. She basically walked me out of her office, so I left with the pain and blood in my eye because she stated I was ok. Got home and looked and found like a siler of something in my lower eye lid, and then it went into my corner of the eye I have pictures, after wards my eye looked like I was punched in the eye. It was like having a needle stuck in your eye and this dr. did not find it. The next day it floated out of my eye because it was watering. 2 weeks later my eye still waters. QQ: who goes to an ER with swelling and bloody eye and told its okay. DO NOT go to her, if you want to keep your eye sight

Went to Cincinnati eye Institute as a walk in patient for a reoccurring issue with my left eye I had been dealing with for over three years. In less than an hour I was moved into a same day appointment and Dr. Ma's professionalism and positive attitude were the biggest breaths of fresh air I could have ever asked for. Shortly after examining my eye she was able to provide a full diagnosis of my condition with a detailed explanation in a way that I could understand and relate to. The treatment plan and care provided by her went above and beyond anything I had experienced from three separate previous doctors and in the days that have followed I am pain free and back to a better quality of life. Dr. Ma is a very professional and caring Opthomologist. She was thorough in diagnosing a problem with my eye, she helped with the tremendous pain and quickly got my eye back to normal.

Dr. Ma saw me in the CEI urgent care clinic and was very thorough in her examinations, she took time to relay information and answer all of my questions. And, she was ‘present’ with me as both a patient and a human being. I would refer her to my family as her professional care and bedside manner were excellent.
