Dr. Stephanie Simmons, MD

Made 'predictions' on blood work that came back the opposite. Terrible bed side manner. Executed a 'suck it up buttercup' attitude. Ignored my concerns. Office staff takes more than the 48 hour policy to return to inquiries.

I had a visit, blood work, and an ultrasound for work up of a medical issue with Dr. Simmons. After the work up, I paid for a consult to discuss options, both being surgical. She said to let her know after the weekend if I had questions, or had made a decision. I sent a couple very basic follow up questions to her through the portal the next week, so I could make a final decision on surgery. I was given a time frame for a response, which came and went. In total, my questions were unanswered for 2 weeks, and the response I got after that 2 weeks was that I have to set up another visit. Do yourself a favor and find a Dr. who cares.

Even though my Doctor was behind schedule, she spent time with me discussing my issues and I never felt rushed. I appreciate that she took the time with me. Makes having to wait a few minutes to be seen worth it when I know I will get the time and attention I need.

seen Dr Stephanie Simmons about 2 yrs ago. I've been having painful and horrible periods for over 10 yrs. I went to Stephanie to get a hysterectomy. She was not very caring about my situation. She told me she would not do a hysterectomy on me because I had 4 c-sections and also because of my weight, which made no sense! I never went back to her but seen a doctor at Delnor. I was diagnosed with endometriosis and she performed my hysterectomy! No complications! Stephanie Simmons,in my opinion, does not help those who need it! I will never be a patient of hers or Rush Copley! I was treated unfairly!

Already recommended Dr. Simmons to my future daughter in law

She is nice. But she hardly spends 10 mins with the patient during the office visit. I feel I am going to the hospital just for the ultrasound and the blood work. I felt she does not have that much time or patience to sit and hear and clarify the patients' doubts. They have to understand that even the second time pregnant will have doubts. The ultrasound person is nicer and listens to the patient's concerns than the doctor and nurse at this hospital. I am not sure if it is because of Covid she is not spending time with the patients or normally she is like that.

She is great doctor and listens to patients concerns. She guides with various options and let you choose. I also enjoyed her office visits, she is friendly with great bedside manners.

She is nice, but sometimes I feel like I am bothering her with my questions and concerns, it doesn't seem she has that much patience to really hear and explain the concerns of the patients. Especially being pregnant I really want to feel that my concerns and questions are valid and not feel like I am a stupid for asking questions that I don't know about it.
