No stars for this doc! She isn't very good!
Horrible doctor! She doesn't know much and doesn't listen to her patients. So much for the MyChart app as all Stirrat does is keep saying to come back in for another appointment. She is draining Medicare dollars. Prescribed medicine that made me dizzy - I ended up in the emergency room. I had to see an orthopedic doctor who said I need an MRI of my back and she refused. All I hear from her is that I need another appointment! Don't bother seeing her!

To busy for patients
Charge nurse tried to get her to reach out after hours and Dr. Stirrat refused to call.

Keep looking for a new doctor’s offfice
I had a heart attack at work. The fire squad came and told me my heart looked like it had no damage after monitoring it and that I should follow up with my doctor. I immediately called Dr Stirrat’s office and told them the situation and asked if I could come in. They told me they had an appointment in 20 minutes and I told them I was 50 minutes away. They said they would make a note and just come as quickly as I could. I arrived at the doctor’s office and they called to the back saying “Hey, your 2:00 is here. What do you want me to tell him?” She came back and told me I was 30 minutes late for my appointment and told me if I was still feeling bad I should go to the hospital. I asked them if that meant no one would come out and look at me after they told me to hurry in and they seriously wanted me to drive myself to the hospital and they said yes. I was having a heart attack in their office and the doctor would not see me. Luckily I made it to the hospital by having my wife drive me.

Forget it!
I have began to believe if you are an ex addict, and go here to the Taylor mill office, all the drs hold some sort of grudge and will treat you as if you have five heads. I have always felt “dirty” when I have to see dr stirrit because she rushes me every single time and has literally always shrugged off serious issues I have going on and my new gynecologist couldn’t understand why nothing had been done sooner about my underlying health issue. There is no care. It’s like as soon as the doctors see that you have been red flagged as an addict… no matter how long you’ve been sober you’re still looked at just that… an addict. And nothing more.

Out of touch office staff, longevity over quality approach by doctor, possible trans-phobia at this location The office staff, in general, do not seem engaged with the patients, or "in touch" with today's culture. The lady in admissions told me that she couldn't figure out whether to call me "sir" or "ma'am", despite my fully presenting as female and my gender marker marked as "neither". She told me that she right away would change the gender marker to female, but when I left the doctor's office after the appointment the gender marker still hadn't been changed. The lady before her wouldn't even say hello to me :( I told the doctor about pain in my shoulder, frequent itching, and mentioned to her assistant that I needed a breast checkup. Dr Stirrat did not ask to physically examine the areas of itching, nor did she ask any questions about my breast health, and no checking of shoulder movement. I don't think I can recommend her. They also wanted me to do their pharmacy homework.

I have seen many different physicians throughout my life. Dr. Stirrat is truly the best! She listens carefully, is knowledgeable, caring, and has helped me with several different medical concerns. She doesn't rush and is easy to talk to. I take my teenager to her as well, and he likes her very much. I hirely recommend her.

I visited Dr. Stirrat for help with my panic disorder. The doctor and I discussed a few things, and she decided to put my on a certain medication that was for anxiety and depression, but would also help me with my eating addiction. Mind you--I had never visited her before, so she just assumed. Upon telling the doctor of my concerns with her focusing on my weight instead of the issues that I originally scheduled my appointment for, she informed me that I need to find a new physician.
