Dr. Stephen Chang, MD

Dr. Stephen Chang is a wonderful and careful Dr. He listens to me and gives me a lot of good treatment for my concerns. I really appreciate his help and support.

Dr. Chang is an excellent primary care doctor. He listens carefully and obviously cares greatly about his patients. I feel very fortunate to have him as my physician.

Dr. Chang recommended and suggested that I have a blood and urine workup. I went over there to UCI Med in Tustin and tried to do that in the morning. And I sat there at 7:30 in the morning and then I found out I had to have an appointment. And then they gave me a sheet that had a barcode on it and I told them, well, I don't know how to do that. I'm over 80 years old. And they said, well, you got to have an appointment. Then I went to the front desk and they said, we don't make appointments. So I've been trying all day yesterday and I left messages. Somebody call me so I can make an appointment to have, under Dr. Stephen Chang's direction, a urine and blood test. And I'm having a heck of a problem getting that done. It seems such a simple matter. And, you know, they give me a sheet that says enter a barcode and I couldn't do that on my phone. So, you know, that'd be nice. You know, Dr. Chang wants me to have a blood and urine test. I want to do that. Somebody there has got to take the initiative to set that up for me.

Dr Chang is a super doctor. He listens to you, take his time to be with you to make sure everything is ok and covers all that's necessary for your well being. Some doctors are always in a hurry with their patients, but not him like many other UCI doctors. He also responds quickly when you message him online and that's a big plus cause he is concerned well to his patients.

I was able to get in with a different provider than the one that I desired initially. However, I was able to get a same-day appointment with them. That was very nice. My other provider I was interested in was booking out six or eight weeks

It was great. Fast and to the point.

The physician and the attending nurse/aid were excellent. I would definitely refer to friends & family. The front office staff could use some help in the hospitality area. Upon entering they were not very welcoming. It felt to me as if they were not happy with they're job. I get it, but this is the work they chose, at least act like you tolerate for the sake of making patients feel welcomed. Physician a 10, nurse 10 front office a 4! at least they showed up for work. To find something good to say about them, the individual that checked me out & took my co-payment after my visit did seem more attentive after I made an effort to draw her out in conversation.

I wasn't able to see my primary since they were booked out for two weeks. So I was able to get an appointment with another doctor which turned out to be a waste of time. I came to the appointment with a few issues and none of my issues I got answers for. I felt like I was just brushed off

He's very empathetic and pays well attention to details. He's also very responsive to questions about my health issues. I recommend Dr. Chang for his exceptional professional service.
