I saw Dr. Phillips once, and I will not return. He didn't even introduce himself. He seemed to know nothing about eating disorders, and said all the wrong things like "Well, you don't look anorexic." When he started into, "The heart has four chambers . . ." I felt like a first grader. I assume he either thought I was ignorant or malingering; I am neither. A month later, I'm still dealing with the triggers of his prescription: "diet and exercise."
