Dr. Stephen Gold, DO

Dr. Gold is the best!! If you are looking for a primary physician. Look no further.Dr. Stephen Gold cares, he is friendly, compassionate, thorough, and very knowledgeable. Notably, the nurses and office staff are second to none and gives you that hometown feel.

I will never return to this Dr., nor the one that referred me to him. Like one stated, he has changed. I was referred to him for weight loss. He was pushing pills and protein bar product. He said that "Happy pills" would help. I told him I did not need "Happy pills" and wanted to lose weight in a natural and healthy manner. Further, the pills would not have been good for my health with pre-existing conditions. Keeping a food diary was the only helpful suggestion I found. He checked my ears, nothing else. The office also wanted payment up front since they said many patients cancel. I had to call to get part of the payment returned after insurance paid. They also had no bathroom handicap bars, which I found odd. Sadly, he was the closest thing to a Dr. in practice for the money, and not for the benefit of patients that I've found. Beware,

dr gold is a awsome dr,who is very thurough,he does not rush you out of the office,to see the next patient,He really is top of the line in my book,and where i was born and raised Boston,there are some of the best hospitals in the world,im more than happy with my dr,

As a patient, in my honest humble opinion, I feel Dr. Stephen F Gold, Dr. David Silverstein, nursing staff, office management they're the best family practice in Lancaster, central Pennsylvania compared to other family medical practices in Lancaster, Hershey Medical Center too. Dr Gold truly cares about myself his patients, actually listens to all questions & concerns that I may have. I kinda feel like family. Highly recommend Dr Gold, Dr. David Silverstein!

Dr Gold changed :/(. One time he was concerned with helping his patients now drug testing his patients despite their poor health comes before helping them with choosing a new depression medicine they can tolerate along with a social security claim his patients NEEDS for life or death. If you take opiates your assumed to be a drug addict. I've been going here 36 visits and suddenly get drug tested? Patients have feelings too :/(

He takes the time to listen and gives feedback. He is an amazing doctor that i would recommend to everyone.

Takes the time to listen to you and has a positive attitude. He's what old time doctors used to be, and has a great personality to boot. Five stars.
