Dr. Stephen Hayes, DPM

Overall, not a good experience with Dr. Hayes. My first and only time, I went in for stiffness and some pain in my feet bc I have a family history of rheumatoid arthritis and diabetes so I wanted to be sure it wasn't anything serious. It took me longer to fill out the paperwork than the time I actually had with the doctor. I was his first appointment of the day and he seemed like he couldn't be bothered unless I was a good candidate for surgery. I wasn't, so he took one look at my feet and asked 2 questions before asking me to walk and before I knew it, he was out the door asking his assistant to fit me for a night splint and some makeshift bandage and foam wrap along with a prescription for some topical pain gel and to set up an appointment with some shoe place. All the same treatments for every patient no matter the issue and no actual time spent figuring out each case. He's a medical salesman for shoes, inserts, and insurance claims. Nothing more. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

My wife had a wound that was approximately 6" long, 1-1/4" wide, and 1/2" deep we were both scared knowing the danger of infection when we came into Dr. Hayes office. We were treated like we were the most important people there. We soon felt at ease. Each nurse or tech had a specific responsibility and preformed their job with a smile and took a true interest in us and our welfare. I will never forget Dr. Hayes smile, his frankness with us and professionalism. Thank You, Everyone

My visit was awful, he was very short with me like he had it seemed like he had somewhere else to be. He commented on my ankle and nothing wrong with it and that it was just sprained, it hasn't healed in over three months, he also said he looked at mu films and MRI(I never had an MRI) and nothing was torn. Awful

He is nothing but a sales man! He treats his staff horribly from what I witnessed in my first and only visit. I went in for plantar fasciitis and all he wanted to do was sell inserts for my shoes and other products. I would not recommend him.

He is not in the business of helping his clients. I went in for incredible heel pain/foot pain in cuboid region. Once he realized my insurance was really good-I got a boot, fitted for orthodics, & pushed to take a cortisone injection. The pain disappeared, but it was temp. & a band-aid. I went in to pickup my orthodics b/c the pain was so intense- all he wanted to do was another cortisone shot. I said no, then he wanted to see me in 4 weeks for the next cortisone shot, No recommendation.

I took my son to have an ingrown toenail removed and I can honestly say I was very pleased with how Dr Hayes made him feel very comfortable and joked around with him during the procedure. I would recommend him 100%.

I was misdiagnosed. not to mention they tried to sell me three different shoes and inserts in one visit!
