Great visit
I’ve been a patient of Dr Johnson’s for several years. I have used him for different procedures and would highly recommend him. His skill as a surgeon is first rate. But I’ve always been more impressed with his ability to discuss and explain in detail any issues or concerns that I might have.

Great experience!
This was my first visit with Dr. Johnson. I was pleasantly surprised to find out he had reviewed my history thoroughly prior to my visit and was even familiar with my former surgeon. He was very patient and never made me feel rushed. He answered all of my questions. One of the first times I didn’t feel rushed at a doctor’s visit. This was a great experience, and I would highly recommend Dr. Johnson!

Dr Johnson is always courteous and he listens in a non condescending way and he explains where he thinks you should be in your recovery and what he wants you to focus on in the next phase of your recovery. Thats what I need from a doctor

After Surgery Concerns
Dr Johnson performed a complete reverse shoulder replacement on me 19 months ago. I came in to have him look at my shoulder because of a recent small injury to make sure I hadn’t damaged any of the work he had done on me. He patiently explained what was going on in language I could understand! I would highly recommend him to anyone needing this kind of surgery. He is an excellent surgeon and I feel blessed to have had him as my surgeon!

So pleased.
Dr. Johnson listened and calmly diagnosed my problem. He offered practical advice and set up an at home exercise program to supplement my otc medication. My shoulder is less painful following a cortisone shot. I am so pleased with the results and the plan to strengthen my shoulder and keep it flexible.

In a league of his own
Dr Johnson is the most patient focused doctor I know. Whether you have an unquestionable surgery need that other practitioners said wouldn’t be fixed at my age (he fixed it), chronic pain or concerning change in a previously injured area, you’ll be given all your options and allowed to determine your course of treatment with his input if you want it. Dr Johnson is my most trusted doctor.

Simply the best in the area
I have had 3 successful surgeries with Dr. Johnson, hand, elbow and 3 areas of my shoulder. He takes his time with you, explains things very well and generally leaves you with a comfort and confidence level moving into treatment or surgery. Having a confidence level going into surgery is as good as it gets!

Dr. Johnson is an excellent orthopedic surgeon.
He listens very carefully to how I feel and provides excellent advice on how to improve what is bothering me. He operated on my right shoulder several years ago and is now treating a torn rotator cuff in my left shoulder. I would recommend him to anyone.

Melvin Bone
Dr Johnson came highly recommended to me and after having reverse shoulder replacement surgery 8 weeks ago, I now know why. My pain has been very minimal throughout this process and even though I have several months left with physical therapy, at week 8 I have good motion in my shoulder with no pain and can finally sleep on my shoulder. Very pleased I chose Dr Johnson.
