Dr. McNeil is the best
Over the years he has done a double ligament reconstruction (major), both shoulders rotator cuff repairs, knee scopes and most recently a total knee replacement. I wouldn’t see anyone else and recommend him to everyone.

Worst Experience of my Life!
Under NO circumstance would I have Dr. McNeil attempt a knee replacement surgery!I have been in extreme pain since he did mine, and when I went in to see if anything was wrong with my knee and ask for some help, he looked at me and told me that there was NOTHING he could do for me! I cannot, for the life of me, even imagine a doctor who performed surgery on someone, telling them that there was NOTHING he could do for them to help alleviate the pain. Instead, he suggested I call my primary doctor and get some anti-depressants! I AM NOT DEPRESSED! I am in pain and ANGRY, to say the least.

Perfection!
My appointment with Dr. McNeil was amazing. His diagnosis was accurate, and I felt my concerns were fully addressed. I can't thank this doctor enough. His assistant was also extremely kind, patient and knowledgeable. I was truly respected. I was referred to his office from my Primary Care Doctor and am so grateful. Very happy with this doctor and the full office staff. Thank you, Mrs. Sharon Graham

Excellence from everyone.
I had an excellent experience today with Dr. McNeil and his PA, Kelly. Both were pleasant and professional. The front desk people were helpful, as was the x-Ray tech. The office is bright and very clean. All in all, a very good experience. I would recommend.

Dr. McNeil and his staff are the best Ortho office around. And sometimes you have to wait for the best, especially if the office has squeezed you in because of a problem.

Don't be late to your appointment, they have no problem skipping over you for an hour to get back at you. Showed up about 10-15mins late rushing from my PT appointment in Middleboro. I spent about an hour waiting as I watched 3 patients skip over me for a simple, quick followup for my 3 yr old daughters legs.

Have been 3 times and each time did have to wait but that is expected .Saw NP who spoke to me each time barely had conversation either Doctor. He was friendly enough cortisone shots are solutions to start with. Last visit he was a bit arrogant and made a off handed remark about people faking to collect workman’s comp. Very unprofessional. Gave me a shot sent me on my way.

I waited over an hour to be seen. No apology for the ridiculously long wait. When I was finally seen his demeanor was arrogant and curt. He barely looked up from whatever he was doing to answer my questions and then answered them like I was bothering him and in a condescending manner. I booked a follow-up appt, but I don't want to go back and there's no way I want him performing my surgery, even though he's supposed to be excellent, if it should come to that. I'm actively looking for a new doc.

Highly Disappointed in West Bridgewater, MA – Sep 17, 2017
×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. McNeil?
I have had a knee scoped for torn cartilage, rotator cuff surgery on my shoulder, a hip replacement, and both hands operated on for carpel tunnel by Dr. McNeil. I am about to have the other shoulder rotator cuff repaired by Dr. McNeil. The diagnosis has been direct to the point with an indication as to the benefit I should expect from these procedures. I have surpassed all expectations in all surgeries. I can not say enough good things about Dr. McNeil.
