Dr. Stephen Patterson, MD

I have been under the care of Dr. Stephen Patterson for almost 5 years at Cleveland Clinic Scully Welsh Cancer Center. I am in the process of making my next 6 month check up with Dr. Patterson in his new location. I am still alive because of the great care I received from Dr. Patterson. I can never thank Dr. Patterson enough!!!! I highly recommend Dr.Patterson to anyone in need of care.

Have been a patient of Dr. Patterson for 8 years at Cleveland 's Scully Walsh Cancer Center. He was instrumental in guiding me through my prostate cancer, establishing a medication treatment regimen and on going monitoring.

Dr. Patterson is an excellent doctor. have been going to him for 6 years and I would not hesitate to recommend him. He is very competent and caring.

Dr. Patterson has been my Oncologist for approximately 4 years. He is an excellent physician and I am thankful for his expertise and care. I appreciate his kindness , professionalism and no nonsense approach to health care .

Dr Patterson is a highly and very well educated person who has helped me immeasurably from my initial cancer diagnosis and all throughout my treatment. He listens and pays attention to every detail. He has always been there when I needed any kind of help with dosages, handling side effects and any issues I've had. He has been a strong force to me knowing he was there for me so I could be strong for my wife and family. Thank you to a great doctor !!!!!

When I went to see Dr. Patterson I had had a diagnosis of lung cancer and had had surgery. I was afraid and ignorant of my medical situation. He educated me and made me less scared. He is knowledgeable, caring, competent and he listened. Very sad that Cleveland Clinic didn't value him as I, and may others, do.

Two years ago I was diagnosed with Hepatocellular Carcinoma and referred to Dr Patterson. In my many visits and discussions he went out of his way to answer all my questions. He is knowledgeable, through and kind. These traits along with his recommended treatment plan gave me confidence I needed. He is a great doctor and I am forever indebted to him, as he helped save my life.

Happy as always to see me....listened to my breathing and heart beat....asked how I was feeling....reviewed results of my blood work....shared he was happy with the results....they were in good order....recommended to continue what I was doing....including medicines, diet and exercise....asked him about certain fruits I possibly could eat and over the counter simple pain medication that I could take, which he answered. Scheduled a next appointment for 6 months!

First, Dr. Patterson took the time to get to know me and my wife during what would otherwise have been a much more difficult journey. He understood the complexities of my unique cancer diagnosis and was a tremendous resource in working with outside specialists to chart my path to arrive at a cancer-free (remission) status; and continues to monitor my health by all relevant means. Thoughtful, extremely knowledgeable, compassionate and determined...Dr. Patterson is the Oncology specialist you want in your corner. Glad he's in mine!

Dr. Patterson is a compassionate doctor who cares about his patients. He clearly explains everything so you can understand your condition and treatment. I was fortunate to have him as my doctor.

I found a kind, caring individual in Dr. Patterson. When I was first diagnosed with my brain tumor my friends and family would accompany me to my appointments. Imagine his surprise when he walked into the room and 5 of us were there including my sister in New Jersey on the phone so she could listen and ask questions. Every question that was asked - no matter from whom- got an answer. He was also very amenable to working along with other oncologists and collaborating on different treatments.

Dr Patterson was thorough, informative and compassionate. I feel very fortunate to have him as my physician.
