Dr.Rashbaum was thorough and professional
Dr. Rashbaum was professional and honest. His medical assistant, Jessica is disrespectful, unprofessional, rude and demeaning. His Patient Portal is nonexistent, his staff could not provide me a statement for my visit when checking out today. The young lady stated I would have to call their business office for a summary and charge for my visit. I've been in the medical field for 40 years and this is a first. Never, ever go here!

Dr. Rashbaum is outstanding. He is very thorough, knowledgeable, and professional. I have 100% faith in his care. I have been his patient for about two years. Even though gastroenterology is his specialty, he has the big picture and encompasses my total health into keeping an eye toward my wellness. He pretty rapidly cured me from three stomach ulcers, for starters. He is an excellent communicator. He listens well, takes his time, ask appropriate key questions, and is warm and friendly. He also has a great staff. Nobody has ever dropped the ball. He is VERY high on my list of great doctors that have treated me over my 74 years of life.

This practice doesn't care about their patients. I waited for hours to have a colonoscopy without any hint of an explanation or apology. I was later forced to come into office to obtain the results so that they could bill for another office visit.

Great gastro Dr. It took me firing 5 other gastro doctors to find one that would listen to me and not just try to stick me on medication. It took a while to get an appointment but was very well worth the wait. Dr. Rashbaum is patient and has a great manner to him. He spends the time to listen to questions and fully explain treatment options. I highly recommend him and his practice.

Make sure before you have a procedure that Digestive Care provides all costs because if you don't ask they will only provide a partial cost. They told me it would cost $1000 for a colonoscopy but now I'm receiving multiple bills totaling over $2000. There are more reasonable providers available.

I had a colonoscopy with Dr. Rashbaum a few years back. He was very nice, answered all questions, was patient, and said he likes to take a little longer than most doctors because he wants to be thorough. I liked that. The nursing staff during the procedure were all wonderful and made me feel relaxed and well taken care of. I didn't have any problems with insurance as some reviews have stated they did. My husband is having his colonoscopy with Dr. Rashbaum by my recommendation.

Since I had polyps about nine years ago (afterwards the following check-up was good), the doctor insisted inputting a diagnostic code for the procedure that would cost me about $900 (the routine check-up is 100% coverage). I called my insurance provider, discussed with them in details and was told that my situation should be viewed as routine; however, the doctor insisted on his error. So I have to cancel my appointment. I have never had such a ridiculous experience in my life!!!

Very poor experience working this provider and his group. On the first occasion, they cancelled the day of the appointment. Due to previously scheduled operation, it put me back by several months to get another appointment. On my second attempt, I was 15mins late and the person left. Never mind, that I had tried to call for my 12pm appointment at 12:01pm to let them I know I was running late. My call goes to vmail until 1pm??? My recommendation: Find someone else!

I like the fact that I did not feel rushed and that Dr. Rashbaum answered all my questions throughly. He has a wonderful bedside manner. The staff was also very helpful and nice. The office was clean and modern. I have recommended him to others without reservation.

I think doctor is OK, but his billing department is awful. They charged us a lot of money before procedure, because they did not know how much our insurance was going to cover. But after insurance paid, they did not return our money back. Every time you call them you get an answer machine. You can leave a message, but nobody cares to call you back. Never had such experience before. Even if the doctor has good reviews, i would not recommend him to anybody, because of billing.

Dr Rashbaum is very good. I wish I could say the same about his staff. The endoscopy nurses are fantastic, however, office staff not so much. Some are downright rude. If you can put up with the staff, he is a great doctor.

I am very fond of Dr. Rashbaum but think is billing staff have a lot to be desired. I paid $875 for a colonoscopy and $375 for an endoscopy that never even were posted on the statement . They did not subtract this from what I owe. I am very upset and would like to find out what happened to the money I paid and where it went. Debra Russo

Dr. Rashbaum is terrific - he saved my Hubby's life by doing an Endoscopy when only the Colonoscopy was scheduled, upon request from wife/Medical POA. He's very intellectually robust, willing to look issues not even directly related to GI for patients! Understands advances in supplements, et al. & how they impact GI issues He's caring and professional too! We very highly recommend Dr. R! He's head & shoulders above former GI Docs in New York! We're so, soooooo fortunate to have his care!
