Overmedicated my son!
My son was 'seeing' Dr. Remolina while he was in a treatment program at In Balance. In Balance contracted with Dr. Remolina. We were informed our son was seeing Dr. Remolina, but my son later informed me he never once saw him. He was being seen by the resident doctors, but Dr. Remolina was the one prescribing my son the medications that were specifically advised he be monitored closely (he wasn't), shouldn't drive ( he was), and to be seen more often (he wasn't ). The doses my son was taking almost killed him. He was admitted to Sonora Hospital because of suicidal thoughts and had to detox from the medications. We then discovered this is where Dr. Remolina also works! My son had to take a medical leave from school, which was his goal while in sober living. Dr. Remolina provided our son a HUGE setback in life, and I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else.

Compassionate, Brilliant and Dedicated
Never have been treated so respectfully by anyone I have seen in my life. Dedicated to the best treatment and listens to concerns. Responsive and the best Psychiatrist in southern Arizona if not entire state.

Worse Psychiatrist I have ever worked with
I have never met with Dr. Remolina, I have only met with the people who work under him. These people will say they are giving you one med and give you something completely different. I cant go into to much detail but the way they conduct business at this treatment program I live at is extremely unprofessional. I strongly don't recommend him or anyone who works under him to anyone seeking a Psychiatrist evaluation.

I would DEFINITELY NOT recommend this psychiatrist. I paid out of pocket to discuss his thoughts on my child after he suggested taking him out of a top rated school while in the middle of his 11th grade year due to stress. When I asked if he had tested my child for autism his response was, "Why should I, every child that goes to that school is on the spectrum." He didn't seem at all engaged in the 1 hour conversation I was paying for about my child. Narcissistic, Indifferent, Uncaring.

Unfortunately I was recommended to see this doctor for my child and I followed the recommendation. He has very poor communication skills and is unable to explain much of anything. My child saw him for ADHD nothing complicated. Unfortunately our previous doctor retired and had to seek new provider. He's very awkward. Definitely made my child feel uncomfortable and made a mess of his medications. I do not recommend for children at all.

I was diagnosed with BP 11 years ago, the last 12 months with Dr. Remolina. He is the eighth doctor I've seen. Finally, I feel heard, respected, that I have top notch care, and that his passion, compassion, and mostly knowledge is something that I can lean into as I maintain good health. He also sees two of my children and has worked with insurance issues for cost of medications. I have had thousands of suicidal thoughts since the onset of BP, and no serious ones since seeking treatment w/ him.

My son and I mainly see Dr. Remolina for medication. He's very knowledge about prescriptions, and made sure to clearly explain choices. Even though the focus of the visit is for ADHD, he always makes genuine inquiries about what's going on in our lives.
