I’m a kidney transplant patient, having received my transplant in 2007. After retiring from a career in healthcare, I moved to Phoenix and have been seeing Dr Schinker for about the last 2 years. Since I started seeing him, I‘ve had a continual problem with getting my transplant medication prescriptions renewed from his office. It’s not unusual to wait for days for his office to renew a prescription. Currently, I’ve been waiting for 8 days to get a prescription for k-phos. I’ve spoken to Dr Schinker and his assistant on many occasions with no improvement whatsoever. Since medication compliance is critical for me, I can no longer afford to remain in his practice and am now awaiting my first appointment at MAYO.
