Dr. Stephen Shell, MD

I've been going to Dr. Shell for many years and find him to be thorough and ready to answer any questions I have. It's too bad he's retiring.

I had a premature heart attack at age 41. Dr. Shell immediately ordered bloodwork, including some detailed bloodwork to try to determine the cause and help set a path for recovery and a better life. He directed me to endocrinologist and other specialist when necessary. He also listened to ideas I had for nutritional supplements, and some alternate medicine to help get me back on the right path. I’m happy to say the 25 years later I live to watch my three sons grow up and get married, and I’m probably healthier today than I was at 41 years old. Dr Shell has been a partner in helping me live long and prosperous, healthy life. Me and my family are indebted to him. He’s a special human being! I’m sad that he’s retiring.

I have had DrStephenShell since I moved on from a pediatrician…. about 30 years! Many in my family has had him as well. We trust him and know he really cares about his patients and has gone above and beyond many times. He says he may be retiring here this year and we don’t know what we will do without him! We know he will definitely be greatly missed. I hope he knows how much he is appreciated. I also know he deserves to enjoy life and retirement. I still don’t know if he can really say goodbye to practicing medicine. Maybe he will decide to keep a few patients just for fun…? If so I know my family (extended) alone would be willing to keep him busy enough where he wouldn’t get out of practice! Lol So much changes through life, and people come and go, and I guess this includes your doctor. Thank you Dr. Shell

Dr. Shell is a fantastic doctor. He likes to pay attention and review all possibilities and he does it in a very quick way for important tests especially. He or his assistant Alla return calls for tests or labs quickly regardless so you do not worry and wait. Thank you Dr. Shell & Alla

Routine physical visit.

Dr.Shell helped with the pain I've been having. I took the first round of steroids for Sciaticia Nerves but the only workedfor only for about 4 days. He prescribed a second round and they have helped except for my low back. I have my annual physical November 29th, 2021.

The most comfortable Dr. to be around. Very thorough and perceptive.

He takes time and gives the patient 100% of his attention. He is very good at diagnosing problems.
