Eyelid surgery
I had my upper and lower eyelids done with Dr Small on March 10,2022. He did a wonderful job! He was thorough in explaining the procedure before the surgery and his staff is wonderful as well! I had very little discomfort after the surgery and healed very quickly. I would have been able to return to work in 10 days, but luckily I am retired. I highly recommend this practice and will return for future cosmetic procedures!

perfectionism. I was told by the receptionist I lived too far away. There are not qualified doctors in my area and I'm a 3 hour drive. While I do not discount the severity of surgery, the truly hard work had already been done at a hospital 2 1/2 hours away. A hotel local as an option should have offered too. I'm very disappointed with this doctor's, or at least his receptionist's, small minded thinking. I also feel the tone in which the receptionist spoke to me lacked inappropriate & her logic was idiotic. I received a response from their office that in no way applied to me. I am in no way recovering from recent surgery, or a complex case. I have not been diagnosed with "complications". The receptionist knew I am fine at the moment. If there are not qualified surgeons in my area I will seek the care of those relatively nearby whom are qualified. Their reply added insult to injury & appears to me to be a lie to cover up the receptionist's rudeness and lack of common sense.

I wouldn't recommend him for tattoo removal. Overpriced session only to be heavily blistered, and now permanently scared, by a laser set too high. Charged my card and I walked out with not even a bandage. Later that evening blistered up so bad i called his service, only to be told its normal....ffwd 6 weeks to bad scar. Called office only to be offered a partial refund...ridiculous. I since found a reputable practice half the price, who confirmed that the laser was set too high, and treated me properly.

Dr. Small performed reconstructive surgery on myself and my husband. He was so patient with both of us; explaining everything from beginning to end. The surgery was performed skillfully with excellent results. His staff was informative and helpful, both before and after the surgery. I recommend Dr. Small to anyone needing plastic surgery.

I am extremely satisfied with Dr. Smalls and his staff. I first met Dr. Smalls a few years back for health reasons and felt comfortable. His knowledge of my condition and bedside manners are what made me feel 100% confident that I made the right decision to have him as my surgeon. Fast forward to 2018 and seeing him again his character has not changed. I wish every doctors office had a staff like his. The girls are extremely nice and go out of there way to make you feel like you are a priority.

I can not thank Dr. Small and his staff enough for the excellent care I received during and after my recent surgery to exchange my saline implants. Dr. Small is very professional and caring doctor who listens and answers all of your questions and concerns. I am so pleased with the results of my surgery and my recovery was exceptional, my incisions in just 3 weeks are hardly noticeable. I highly recommend Dr. Small to anyone who may be considering plastic surgery

Dr Small did great work removing a basal cell carcinoma and then reconstruction for my 89 y.o. Mom. Due to location it was a little tricky but she is very happy with his work and “bedside” manner.

I Had labiaplasty wedge procedure in January 2018 by Dr.Small. I am only 23 days post op, and he did an excellent job. He made sure I was comfortable before and during the procedure. He spent extra time during the procedure to make sure everything was done with care. His assistant Jennifer was very professional throughout. Dr. Small is a very nice and talented plastic surgeon, and has really changed my life. I am very happy with my result so far. Nobody else could have done better. THANK YOU ?

Dr. Stephen Small and his staff get my highest recommendation! I had a breast reduction in April and I could not be any happier with the results. 3 months post-op and the incisions are healing beautifully. The surgery truly transformed my body for the better and it could not have happened with out the skilled hands and professional expertise of Dr. Small. Do not look any further if you are searching for a plastic surgeon in the Toms River NJ area.

Dr Small is a very professional surgeon . You will get excellent care and he has always been available by phone after a procedure for care and advise - very important . He did an excellent job on a mini face lift which has looked good now for 5 years ! ...That being said , he is not a beautitian and you really have to be very specific when you communicate about those little lines and issues that look huge in the real lighting outside of his well lit office .
