Not Satisfied
I had a leg swollen to mid-calf and nausea. My toes had formed gangrene. Yet - Mr. Tilghman did not bother to read a culture result from that morning. He mentioned infection nowhere in the medical record or discharge instructions. He incorrectly diagnosed me as a Type 2 diabetic (even though I have actually been a juvenile Type 1 diabetic since youth.) and alarmingly he accused me of non-compliance with anti-biotics that had not been prescribed during the period in question. He put my life in danger. He allowed a resident MD to overturn his suggestion I be admitted to the Emergency Room. Five weeks later - I still hadn't been informed or diagnosed of the staph infection. Furthermore the continued instructions to wash and bathe an open and infected wound were certainly not helpful. I lost 2 toes and am deeply traumatized.

Exceptionally poor medical care. Failed to review the chart. Prescribed medicine that chart clearly indicates may not be taken. Diagnosed a concussion when nothing reported.

Really let me down. If I had been less trusting in him perhaps I could have saved more of my foot.
