Went to him with a referral of my family doctor. Here are the facts: He spent approximately 45 seconds to diagnose my issue. He did not touch my skin, actually he did not even come close to me. Think about that you are taking your car to a repair shop and the repairman does not even touch your car. Of course my issue still existing, nothing has changed after this great treatment!!!

Wow. I really should have looked at these reviews before I came to see Dr. Tyring. I want to warn everyone that what you'd experience at Dr. Tyring's office is NOT what you SHOULD experience. I had the EXACT same thing happen to me as the other reviewers. He spent literally 1-2 seconds looking at my back, said my moles were fine, didn't look anywhere else. Was in the office for no more than 5 minutes. I consider it a waste of $120 and I will forever regret going to see him. PLEASE go elsewhere!!

I had high hopes for this highly educated dermatologist (MD, PhD, MS). But he might want to think about retirement. He barely spent any time performing my annual skin screening, didn't even look at spots I had told his nurse I was concerned about. Was not warm, but gruff, on the sarcastic side. What a joke! I'm a nurse, BTW.

He glanced at the mole I am concerned about and says, Okay lets take it off. Nurse starts getting tray ready with needles and medication etc. They did not assess my skin or take any history. I asked what he was doing and just said we were going to cut it off and numb the skin. I was literally in the room for less than 3 minutes. I am not going to let someone do anything to me with out explain why or what they are doing. Horrible experience.

My experience today would be considered a complete insult as a patient. Please do your research before making an appointment with Dr. Tyring. I have a history of skin cancer lesions and he suggested I use over the counter hand lotion - REALLY???? How about being a little proactive with ones care and maybe do a quick biopsy to rule out any potential issues - HAND LOTION is what you get (on a positive note they were free hand lotion samples).
