Dr. Stephen Wetherill, MD

Dr. Wetherill was my father’s attending physician in the ER at Christiana Hospital. He was thorough in his evaluation of my father’s complicated condition. He ensured all avenues were explored by having in-depth consults with the appropriate specialists. He was also generous with his time in that he thoroughly reviewed the specialists’ findings with me and explained his reasonings for treatment course. His conclusions and recommendations were logical and insightful. I cannot emphasize enough how grateful I am for Dr. Wetherill.

He asks questions of patients in the hospital, however NEVER actually waits or listens to answer. He's a "hospitalist" at Christiana care that my family has encountered on three separate hospital stays in the last 6 months. He is Terrible. He passes blame to others, he makes excuses for not doing his job. He is the worst "person" to have "in charge" of a sick person's care. I have filed a formal complaint I am so upset about his careless behavior and lack of professionalism.
