Excellent care
Been Dr Riggs’ patient for over 4 years. Very pleased, don’t know what shape would be in if not for his treatment.

Watch out
Dr Riggs has only done a 1 year of an ENT residency. He is not trained to be an internist, read xrays, treat arthritis, or provide osteoporosis services. It is shameful Oklahome Arthritis Center continues to employ him.

In a real world- -3 stars- yet not an option
Maybe in a different medical specialty- he could be great! A real “House” even.. but as Rheumatologist or any type of “bedside manner”???? Dr Sterling Riggs is not the one!

Efficient, effective, & knows how to hit trouble spots when doing procedures. Dr. Riggs is also very kind, & he/ his office helps get financial assistance you need for expensive RX’s. They’re a huge Blessing in my life.

Dr. Riggs has basically saved my life. He actually treats my Lupus symptoms and has never been anything but the best. Additionally, he and his staff worked amazingly with my other docs when I was life-flighted to an out of state hospital.

He is not a trained or board certified rheumatologist. He diagnsoed my Lyme disease as ankylosing spondylitis. I had second opinion from mayo clinic and they completely dismissed his diagnosis

I wouldn’t recommend this doctor to anyone! I rarely give reviews, much less negative ones. I don’t have an autoimmune arthritis so he didn’t care. I have osteoarthritis and I hurt. He asked me who my PCP and Pain management doctors were. My new patient appointment lasted about 8 minutes and he told me to see my PCP for further treatment. Forget this doctor!

Dr Sterling Riggs may do a great job treating pain, but is not a rheumatologist and has no training in Rheumatology and is unqualified to see adult and children with rheumatic diseases. You can find this information on the Oklahoma Medical Board website.
