Three hernias repaired and liver biopsy. Surgery is scary, but you can not ask of a better experience. Dr. Duffy and his entire staff are fantastic. Thank you Dr. Duffy

Emergency appendix surgery. I was lucky that Dr Duffy was on call. He was an amazing surgeon. Healing very quickly!! Wonderful bedside manner!!

Dr Duffy took care of my wife and myself, and I would say he is one of the best doctors I've ever had the pleasure to meet. He explains things well, he listens, is very personable, and genuinely cares. I would go back to him in a heartbeat. Excellent care and very good doctor.

After having my intestines lacerated from a prior hysterectomy and emergency surgery to repair this, I was left with a rather large hernia, which literally made me look about 5 months pregnant. Dr. Duffy reassured me that this could be remedied and explained thoroughly, what I could expect from surgery to recovery. I can assure you he is very passionate about what he does and I am so thankful that I was led to him after what I have experienced. His PA, Amy is pretty fabulous as well.

When Dr. Duffy removed my gall bladder, he left me with an umbilical hernia and stage 3 hemmorhoids. Both of which required later surgeries to correct.

Dr. Duffy and his staff have gone above and beyond my expectations. He is clearly focused on what is best for the patient, willingly taking into concideration their needs and desires. He sees them as individuals, each unique. In addition he’s very personable, putting you at ease as soon as he walks in

I could not have asked for a better Doctor. I was sure I was going to be pressed into a surgery. Instead he was kind, considerate, thoroughly explained my condition, answered ALL of my questions, and he gave me the choice of following up with another specialist, or going ahead and getting surgery. In no way did I feel pressed to do anything except what was right for me. This was a WONDERFUL office, amazing staff - he even called me later to follow up! Believe me, you are in the best hands!!!

Canceled my appointment from information provided from staff. How can a doctor say that can't help you, when they won't see you? I chose him because of one his patients spoke highly of him. Three of the surgical procedures he performs, I'm currently experiencing symptoms. It's really sad how doctors treat people this way.

Dr. Duffy was very professional, friendly, had a great attitude, treated me like a real person, not only a patient' I did not know he was a 4th degree black belt, if I knew that I would have told him I also was a 1st degree B. B. in American Karate, tested under Pat Burleson, fought in full contact tournaments, Battle in Atlanta, second place, sparred with Bill Wallace, Mike Stone, Billy Jackson, and several respected professionals. Red Belt in Judo. Fought in most local tournaments the 70's

I recently underwent surgery performed by Dr. Duffy for corrective surgery to address my intestines. I had been experience bowel blockages for over 15 years with other doctors credited to scar tissue from a previous surgery I had as a child. I found Dr. Duffy after I had been fed up with ER visits and hospital stays with that NG tube of horror. He did an AMAZING on my surgery and I have not had ANY issues post op with was over 2 months ago now.

I needed emergency surgery at Plano Presby, and Steve was the doctor they called. I was extremely nervous but after the doctor told me who was doing the surgery the nurses came in and told me that I could not have been put into better hands. Steve came into the room and was calm, confident, and pleasant. He spent time in the room with me, and by the time we went into the operating room, I knew everything would be ok. The after surgery care was exceptional! Highly recommend!

It's been a little more than 4 weeks since Dr. Duffy repaired my umbilical hernia and I can't be more pleased with the entire experience. As a physician myself I know how important it is to choose a surgeon with the technical expertise to address your problem. Finding a surgeon that also has great interpersonal skills, a fantastic office and staff and the time to explain and answer questions is a rarity. Dr. Duffy is just such a surgeon and I recommend him highly.

I had gallbladder surgery done by Dr.Duffy. He
was awesome, in fact the whole surgical team was
awesome. The decorated my stuffed wolf in surgical outfit so it look cute when it greeted me in recovery. Came by and and checked on me different times in the hospital when I was al first texas hospital in Carrollton. Dr duffy explained the shower process and how not to get the drainage tube wet til fri. Then on release day most of the staff who was with me in beginning saw me before I left.
