My husband and I both see Dr.Timms and absolutely love him, he listened to what you have to say, he pays attention to what's been going on with both us and has helped my husband immensely and after years of trying to figure out how to get my seizures to stop, 2 of which I was life flighted for, and he came up with something that worked and I've been seizure free for over a year, I would recommend him to anyone

Not good...
Was barely in room with him for 15 minutes. Tried to ask a question and he just said take the medication we'll call in for you, come back in 6 months. I was expecting at least some testing... Alzheimer's runs in my family and I was having serious memory problems... I don't have an actual diagnosis.... The medication leaves me out of it for 4 or 5 hours. Not sure it actually helps my mental abilities. Will be checking for other drs and services in area...

I left 1 star - Timms deserves 0 stars
I saw Timms when I was in the hospital a few years ago. Was more interested in my husband's job than my TIA stroke symptoms. Made a rude comment about our marriage.

I took my father to see Dr. Timms because his stroke symptoms were worsening and he needed a neurologist closer to home. He led with, “Why did someone send you here today? I don’t know what I can add to this.” And this was before even listening to anything I had to say. My father is paralyzed on the right side and can never get comfortable and was restless in his wheelchair and he wasn’t compassionate at all. Was very short with me and on the verge of being rude. Didn’t want to listen to me and made me feel like it was a waste of my time bringing my father. Very disappointed.

This was our first appointment with Dr. Timms since moving to the area, so we were expecting a very thorough consultation (especially considering we waited several months to be seen). Instead, his manner was very impatient, brisk, and he kept repeatedly standing as if the appointment was over. I finally had to say, "Sir, I realize you are a very busy man, but I have several questions that I would like you to explain to me so I can better care for my father-in-law." He sat back down and proceeded to brush off all of my questions. Instead of familiarizing himself with our history, he kept all treatment the same, deferring to the PCP's suggestions. HE is the specialist, I wanted HIS educated evaluation of our situation. Very disappointed.

Took about a month to get in, which is great for a neurologist. He is blunt and to the point. Likes preventative therapy for headaches, which is fine with me. Listened to my concerns and did a full exam, spent prolly 30-45 mins with me . Was nice when my 3 year old was talking over us. Staff was friendly and the nurse was very kind. You go a half an hour early to give paperwork but the time flew by. He does need a bigger waiting room because hes busy. I liked him.

Very poor bedside manners. Does not communicate effectively. Didn't answer my questions. Unfortunately, I cannot leave less than one star as the rating. Room was ice cold.
