Dr. Blackwood had superb bedside and communication skills He is a good listener who answers question clearly with great patience. The pre op and post op instructions and expectations were clear. Dr. Blackwood is competent, honest, and a skilled surgeon. I was impressed with the interactions with everyone in the orthopedic offices and surgical center. I highly recommend you see him for his areas of expertise.

I saw Dr. Blackwood for a fractured fibula malleolus (broken ankle). He did a great job. My fracture has healed perfectly. He is everything you could ask for in a physician. He specializes in feet and ankles. He clearly explained what had happened. He answered all my questions carefully. He is a very likeable and pleasant person. I was very happy to get an appointment with him the same day I phoned. His office on Cherokee Street in Marietta is close to I-75 and is only 9 minutes north of the Galleria. Parking is free and you can drive right up to the front door. This is important if you have a broken leg.
