Very thorough in gathering information but did not explain his treatment easily. I was having another medical procedure at the time which conflicted with his recommendations. He was dismissive, inflexible, even sarcastic.

Dr. Burka is great. He is a straight shooter both efficient and matter of fact. He spends whatever time is necessary to answer my questions and calm me down when I am not happy about a particular test score. He calls me back in a timely manner if requested. Additionally, every couple of years I have to renew the health portion of my Coast Guard license. This is extra work for the good Doctor and his wonderful staff. It has been done on time and correctly.

Dr. Burka really cares about his patients and spends time after hours if he needs to see them in the hospital. He is caring and knows drug interactions. He's helped me a lot.

Dishonest. Greedy Makes money rather than cures. Sends you make tests despite you brought him fresh ones. When I asked him to confirm that the prescribed drug won’t increase dangerous for me creatinine serum (Internet data) he said that gave a small dose. It was a lie. I didn’t use this drug and looked for other doctor. Such doctors is the main reason why our health system has not been fixed.
