My daughter was extremely anxious about having her wisdom teeth out. Dr. Carney took his time to explain everything very clearly and eased her fears during the consultation. The day of the procedure went so well. We couldn't be happier with the results. Dr. Carney called us later that night after the procedure, who does that anymore???!!! I will bring my other children to his office if/when they need their wisdom teeth out

This physician’s Office Policy is to have parents/guardians wait in their cars while pediatric patients are being operated on because: (verbatim) “it’s too distracting to work on patient with family in the next room.” Any parent/guardian wanting to be in the building has to have their child be placed under IV sedation in his Surgicenter ($$$). Also, weeks before appointment I was told to bring cash for unnecessary X-rays. Patients beware. Called many oral surgeons all over CT, can’t find anyone else who has this office policy for minors.

I would highly recommend Dr. Carney to my friends and family. I had 4 wisdom teeth removed without any problems. Dr. Carney and his staff were professional, efficient and compassionate.
