I met Dr. Chetham for only a few moments prior to my first ever colonoscopy. The atmosphere at the Community Medical Center location in Lafayette was one of a factory. Check in was over a telephone, the staff was impersonal, and I felt rushed. I did wake up during my procedure with just conscious sedation and said that it hurts. The two-star rating includes both the doctor and the facility.

I only met him as he was about to start my procedure, which felt weird to do. He was nice and professional. However I give fewer stars because he took several biopsies without telling me before OR after. I would have wanted to consent to that specifically. I only found out when I saw my enormous bill. He also told me I had several (yes, several) other conditions that I did not actually have.

I have been going th Dr. Chetham since 2005. He performed 4 colonoscopy and 2 endoscopy on me. He explains what he is going to do, what he has done and answers my questions. I recommend Dr. Chetham.
