Dr. Steven Chon, MD

I’ve been going to Dr. Chon since he started practicing. That’s almost 20 years! He is wonderful. He listens and explains things. He has a great “bed side manner.”

Best doctor in the area! I have been seeing both Dr. Chon and his nurse practitioners for almost 10 years and they are consistently great. Definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a new doctor.

Dr Chon is a great doctor. I have been going to him for some time. I wish he was full time. If you want to see Dr Chon you need to make an afternoon appointment. Otherwise you will see his PAs

Dr. Chon is a wonderful doctor. I have been seeing him since he was working with Dr. McCoig. He takes time to listen to me and read between the lines. Thanks for always being there for me and always making room to see me. He has a great staff. They are so helpful as well.

I have been seeing Dr. Chon for a year now, I do agree he’s friendly and makes great referrals I just feel that he rushes in and out. The appointment suppose to be 15 minutes with the doctor but it’s been more like five minutes. He does ask if you need refills of your medication at each visit, I just feel he isn’t trying to find the cause of my illnesses instead he likes to prescribe medication. Therefore I’m in the process of finding another family medicine doctor.

Dr. Chon took care of me for an extended stay in the hospital, he was excellent. Very professional, caring, dependable, I am happy to have him now as my PCP.

Amazing experience. He really listens to you. I did my homework and took my time to check many Drs. reviews in the area before to pick Dr. Chon and I dont regret it. I have been avoiding going to Drs in USA because (In my experience) they dont seem to care, barely listen to you, or seem in a hurry to go to the next patient No Dr Chon. He really takes the time to listen to your concerns and evaluate the situation and doesnt just assume.

Dr. Chon has saved my life! About 3 years ago, I went to my regular doctor for a yearly physical. Some parts came out abnormal, and the doctor told me that he will refer me to a GI specialist for further testing. It took forever for the doctor to give me a referral and about 2 months later, I was finally able to see a GI. That GI doctor also did some testing and told me that I may have pancreatic cancer, but I would need another referral and a further testing. However, that referral never happened due to reasons I never understood. From what I knew about pancreatic cancer, it spreads fast and extremely difficult to treat. I could not just sit and wait, so I sought out for 2nd opinion, and found Dr. Chon. I explained my situation, and immediately he was concerned. He got things done super fast to where I was able to be admitted and get tested right away. He was very proactive and informed me and my family exactly what was going on. The best doctor anyone could ask for! He's been my doctor for over 10 years and he has always been consistent--caring, kind, knowledgeable, and ultimate professional! I have referred him to my family and friends, and they all LOVE Dr. Chon. Furthermore, every staff member is super nice and friendly! I will never go to any other doctor as long as he is around!

Dr. Chon saved my dad's life! My dad went to see Dr. Chon for an annual physical. During the exam, Dr. Chon suspected that my dad had an acute appendicitis. He helped arrange everything, and my dad was able to get a surgery not long after. The surgeon said that appendix would have bursted if my dad waited longer, and it would have been dangerous. I am truly grateful for Dr. Chon and his helpfulness. I definitely recommend him to everyone!

He is the most compassionate and generous doc I've ever seen! I recently lost my job, along with my insurance. I got really sick, but didn't want to go to the doctor since I don't have insurance. I just called Dr. Chon's office for some recommendations for over-the-counter meds. But he had me come in and waved the office visit fee. Turned out, I had the flu and really needed to be seen. THIS DOCTOR'S OFFICE WILL NICKLE AND DIME YOU TO DEATH!!! AFTER 5 YEARS OF LOYAL SERVICE TO THIS DR'S OFFICE, THEY TRIED TO MAKE ME COME INTO THE OFFICE TO GET A DR'S NOTE SAYING THAT I HAVE CHRONIC ALLERGIES WHEN THEY HAVE SEEN ME AT LEAST 15 TIMES OVER THE LAST 5 YEARS FOR ALLERGIES!!!!
