Too cheap to give you a mask
This is one for the books. I've been seeing this guy for 5 or more years. I show up for my appointment today and the receptionist asks if I have a mask. I tell her I forgot to bring one. She tells me "we can sell you one for $1.00 or you can go back to your car and see if you have one there!!!!!!!" I told her "no....I'll be finding a new vascular surgeon," and I left-for good. I can't believe that they were going to charge me (actually my insurance co.) about $600 for the visit and they want to sell me a $0.25 mask, that doesn't prevent the transmission of the virus to begin with, for $1.00. You can't make this stuff up. By the way, I knew I had a box of masks still in my trunk from when we used to have to wear them everywhere we went, but there is no way I was going to go get one and come back in that office.

This guy will ask you to come in as many times as he can. He only see's patients two days of the week to begin with. When he proposes a plan and you follow it, don't be surprised that you'll have to follow-up in as many ways imaginable. If you are in pain and need prompt attention, move on. Also, make sure you prepare all of your questions, because if you leave the room the mode changes to hurry up and leave.
